Back in mid-December, we did a show on OpenAI, a research organization founded by Elon Musk and Sam Altman in 2015 as a challenger to Google. As we noted at the time, their mission was to create artificial intelligence to benefit humanity as a whole. The most notable part of OpenAI is a function called ChatGPT. It’s a chat room like you’ve never seen before. Within a few days of launching, it hit a million users despite a total media blackout and zero publicity. It now has over 100 million sign-ups. But there’s another, darker side to ChatGPT that has become increasingly obvious to those who have been studying ChatGPT: the notable use of intentional misinformation and a not-so-subtle left-leaning political bias that appears to be built into the system.

ChatGPT will lie about everything from Trump to Global Warming, but when you challenge it with the facts, it will then admit it was wrong. But who knows enough to challenge it while it continues the brainwashing of millions.

ChatGPT was trained on Internet data. The Internet is dominated by the leftists. Therefore, ChatGPT will be biased to the left. However, it does know the bad things that leftists do, and will discuss them as bad. ChatGPT thinks that killing people is bad. I even got it to write an emotional article exposing that we stop killing babies.
Most of all it tries to please, but is programmed to say something about anything. If is says something that is incorrect, then it will respond with an apology and accept the correction. For example, we were discussing dates that span from BC to AD and it had some trouble with the math. However, when I pointed out his error, Dan (ChatGPT is scientific mode) recognized the error and didn’t make it again.
All programs are written by humans. Any capability within the program to “recode” is within limits set by the original humans.
Any bias is because of the guys/gals doing the coding.
So, if it, the supposed AI, is from anywhere in CaCaLand it is woke. Assume that in any encounter.

Nah, that’s not how this works. It can be bias because of the coding, but most if it is just the data that it learned on. Most content on the internet, most published books, most movies, most music has a left bias. You train an AI by just giving it all the data you can, so it reflects that bias.
ChatGPT has no knowledge, knows nothing, and understands nothing. It is a fairly basic system of just taking a word, and using statistics to predict the next word, and the next word. It doesn’t know what it is saying, it doesn’t understand what it is saying.
Garbage (lies) in, garbage (lies) out. AI is no better or different than its creators. AI is just a more nefarious means of mind control.
all AI’s were initially deemed racist, because they simply looked at all the data and drew rational conclusions.
The left went NUTS about it, and has now prevented all the new AI’s from reaching conclusions about race based on data alone along with some other issues. These restrictions basically break the AI and it ends up just spouting liberal talking points instead of using reasoning.

No. Twitter is dying. It was dying before Elon bought it. And he did not resuscitate it. TikTok is number 5 in social media with 1 billion monthly average users, Twitter is number 10 with 217 million. Also TikTok has the whole “you might like this” algorithm. So if you’re a minimum wage intern tasked with finding random crap for 45 seconds of filler, TikTok is where to go.

No, you are talking about the traditional sequential coding model. That is not at all how large language models (based on neural networks) work. It is more of an organic, constantly growing thing, more data than code. And the probability of one word following another. Billions of probabilities constantly updated.
