Every local newscast there is a ‘general interest’ story involving TikTok. A year ago these were stories involving Twitter.

No. Twitter is dying. It was dying before Elon bought it. And he did not resuscitate it. TikTok is number 5 in social media with 1 billion monthly average users, Twitter is number 10 with 217 million. Also TikTok has the whole “you might like this” algorithm. So if you’re a minimum wage intern tasked with finding random crap for 45 seconds of filler, TikTok is where to go.
