A letter from God…
My Dear Children,
I am writing to you today with a heavy heart, for I have seen that many of you have strayed from the path I have set before you. You have embraced greed, sexual immorality, and all sorts of evil, while abandoning prayer, worship, and holiness. This grieves me deeply, for I have always loved you and desired the best for you. You live like the heathens around you, embracing their ways.
In Revelation 3:15-16, it is written, “I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.” Do not be lukewarm in your faith, for I desire that you be fully committed to me.

We are indeed the Laodicean church.
Would he say this now? No-—God has been stating this since the beginning of time but makes it even clearer in 2 Timothy 3:1-9
Evil in the Last Days
“1But understand this: In the last days terrible times will come. 2For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, without love of good, 4traitorous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Turn away from such as these!
6They are the kind who worm their way into households and captivate vulnerable women who are weighed down with sins and led astray by various passions, 7who are always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.
8Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses,a so also these men oppose the truth. They are depraved in mind and disqualified from the faith. 9But they will not advance much further. For just like Jannes and Jambres, their folly will be plain to everyone.”
Is that the royal “we”? Surely there are churches in America (and born again believers in them) who are not guilty of this accusation.
Yes, many churches ARE guilty, but then, many churches have no Christians in them....
2. God wouldn't take 618 words.
3. Jesus never gave references when quoting scripture. I doubt God would, either.
4. God would just speak and bag the letter.
It's a nice sentiment.
Amen 🙏🏻!!!!
There is still time to repent. Good article.
We are not perfect like He is.
Yes, many churches ARE guilty, but then, many churches have no Christians in them...

John 8:15 and 2 Corinthians 5:16 Romans 14:4 tell us we are to judge no one according to the flesh.
Could you point us to the chapter and verse that exempted you from that teaching?
Is this just your view or the view of the church full of Christians you attend?
I see that a lot today especially in the Christian circles where celebrities authors are leading women into heartache and misery while excusing adulterous sins of men. There’s a huge twitter war over this.
Then there’s the extremes were Andy Stanley is on one end and John MacArthur is on the other, both are narcissists, Pope Francis another one for the Catholics…. The churches caving in to either the gay agenda or the worshipping of man but all are blinded by charismatic, narcissistic leaders that if you question them, their followers will swoop down and try to destroy you.

This!
No, That would be mr. mm and me.
“John MacArthur is on the other, both are narcissists,...”
I have been listening to him for a while and he has been spot on in his theology-—a bit strong on the Calvinism, but I’m okay with that...Could you expand on your remarks about him? Not that I’m questioning you but I would like to know if there’s anything I’m overlooking.
It's a nice mental aid, though.
Aye, God would write: “Remember how I wrote to the Holy Apostle Timothy....”
‘There is still time to repent.’
and if we don’t...? are we then under threat of eternal punishment...?
would you accept such a threat under any earthly, very tangible authority...? and if not, why would you accept the same from an supernatural, intangible one...?
He’s already wrote that letter. The way is narrow and few there be that find it. See ya at the great white throne judgment fool!
Seems rather clear to me; He already did.
He’s had some problematic statements, which I have to dig up, but the biggest problem is brushing off abuses in his church.
“MacArthur excommunicated a woman who wouldn’t reconcile with her abusive husband who was also sexually abusing the kids.” From Sheila’s Twitter page.
“If you give money to @FocusFamily:
Remember that Jim Daly endorsed a book which called a young teen girl “a willing participant” when an adult friend of the family raped her, partially because “the breast fairy had arrived early” for her.” From Sheila’s Twitter page.
There’s a huge argument on Twitter about this and other pastors, Christian authors excusing male rape, married men who prey on young girls because they’ve sprouted breasts and placing the blame on young teens. it’s really quite sick. They also give a wide birth to male lust while condemning women for being hard hearted for not forgiving them but to allow their lust to continue because they are the head, like Jesus and God made them that way. It’s like the prosperity gospel is now being replaced by the worship of the phallic symbol, almost like the Mormon church in it’s design.
I don’t know how to post twitter links but Sheila Gregoire is one place to start on Twitter. Christians on the right want to shut down the conversation by saying these are feminists, which does give fuel to some but the worst part of this is that it ignores the sexual abuses that have taken place, the disregard for young girls as disposable sex objects, and the undermining of the church.. There is a deep sickness in the church and it needs to be addressed. Narcissism and sexual idolatry and destroying people’s faith and leading men and women into hell. Pastors must be held accountable and not be treated like sacred idols that can’t be questioned otherwise they become cults.
