Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), who was on the House select committee that probed the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol, weighed in on and welcomed potential House Republican plans to investigate Jan. 6 for themselves now that they control the lower chamber.
“If @HouseGOP wants new Jan 6 hearings, bring it on. Let’s replay every witness & all the evidence from last year,” Cheney said on Twitter. “But this time, those members who sought pardons and/or hid from subpoenas should sit on the dais so they can be confronted on live TV with the unassailable evidence,” the former lawmaker added.
Cheney was vice chairwoman of the Jan. 6 panel during the last legislative session, which concluded with criminal referrals against former President Trump, recommending the Department of Justice investigate him for inciting an insurrection, conspiracy to defraud the country, conspiracy to make a false statement and obstruction of an official proceeding.

Cheney said that she “would find it very difficult” to support DeSantis in a general election against a Democrat if DeSantis becomes the 2024 GOP nominee for president.
“I think that Ron DeSantis has lined himself up almost entirely with Donald Trump, and I think that’s very dangerous,” Cheney said.

Cheney also said that she prefers working with her Democrat women in Congress than Republican women.
“I would much rather serve with Mikie Sherrill and Chrissy Houlahan and Elissa Slotkin than Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert, even though on substance certainly I have big disagreements with the Democratic women I just mentioned,” Cheney said. “But they love this country, they do their homework and they are people that are trying to do the right thing for the country.”

What a show of sheer brass and bravado. Of course Liz Cheney is well aware of the real facts in regards to the events of January 6, 2021, and that it in no way resembles the popular narrative promoted by the anti-Trumpers. This way, she gets to play the “victim card”, and thus trifle with the sympathies of the willfully uninformed. The big, bad MAGA branch of the Republican party is out to crush and decimate those who in any way cannot reconcile themselves to the reality of that force of nature known as Donald J. Trump, President Extraordinary, and a powerful folk hero.
Somebody has to speak up. But nobody has to listen.

Take a video of Swallwell and insert loud farting sounds. Then when he objects show the before and after video of people coming into the the capitol with loud sounds inserted by the J6 committee to make Trump people sound unruly (shown on Tucker last night).

Sure. This time hold the hearing in public, and air all of the evidence. All the videos, all the testimony, both from the Dem’s kangaroo court and all new stuff, and cross examine the witnesses from the first one.
Allow attorneys from those jailed or prosecuted after the Dems phony proceeding to cross examine. If the Dems are found to have withheld exculpatory evidence, refer them ALL to the DOJ for prosecution. If Garland is found to have withheld exculpatory evidence, refer him too. See what DOJ does with that.
Things used to have to pass a “laugh test”. The Dems don’t laugh, so they don’t understand when they fail the laugh test.

She can ignore any Congressional subpoena, or lie in testimony, or claim she ‘can’t recall’ for the same reason. The DOJ will simply refuse to act on any Congressional complaint.
