Former President Trump has made developing nicknames for his GOP rival and potential presidential opponent Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) a priority as his team works on his 2024 campaign, according to a new Bloomberg report.
Trump has floated “Ron DisHonest,” “Ron DeEstablishment,” and “Tiny D” as monikers for the Florida governor, but appears to favor “Ron DeSanctimonious,” according to Bloomberg.
The former president coined “DeSanctimonious” days ahead of the midterm elections and shortly before launching his own presidential bid in November.

I seriously doubt that. Trump is just preparing the battlefield.
Maybe you would be better off not reacting to every red herring the left floats.
The name calling is so junior high. Stick to the salient points, Donald.
Trump just is his own worst enemy. And he has never apologized for the shutdown, which destroyed hundreds of thousands of American lives.
He was tricked into it by Fauci and Birx, but he didn’t have the guts to stop it and he has never apologized for his error.
Also, he was a big vax proponent and did nothing to protect people who didn’t want to be vaxed.
Finally, he attacked the governors who resisted the shut-down: Kemp (GA) and Abbott (TX) first, and then DeSantis (FL), who initially abided by Trump’s orders but then realized that this was suicidal for his state.
De Santis was heavily opposed by RINOs such as the Mayor of Jacksonville, the Dems in general, the teachers’ union, the police unions, and the medical establishment, so he really had to fight for this, and Trump’s attacks didn’t help.
I’d be okay with anybody who was wrong if they’d say they were wrong and apologize, but none of them (including Trump) will ever do that.
Right, this has to be fake news since it would be so out of character for Trump to ever contemplate using denigrating and sophomoric name calling against his opponents.
Yo true believers of the immaculate perfection ( Trump ) these stories true or not, have legs because they are not unbelievable.
Wish Trump would do a right about face on the trolling and ad hominem stuff and see if maybe that helps build his political power across a wider base.
Trump comes up with the best names for the dorks and incompetents he appoints to his personal staff and nominates for cabinet positions, after he fires them, and for opponents that he endorsed for low-level jobs like Governor of Florida. According to Trump, compared to Trump everybody else is a zero or a negative. Why, according to Trump, not even Lincoln or Washington compare to Trump.
That’s hilarious!
I doubt Trump would waste his time on that.
Trump got more votes in his second election..
He widened his base..
And he exposed lots of R’s you had to vote for in the past for President..
Unless one wants to go back to the Bush, Dole, Bush, McCain, Romney days of the GOP..
