I remember this being a requirement on overseas packages in the fifties, for customs tax

So everyone will know when my inflatable Cherry 1000 girlfriend ships to me? That sounds intrusive. What about my crack pipes (Biden never sent me any of the free ones)? And my at-home STD test kit? Wow. And (seriously) you can believe this is the FIRST step to stop shipping of firearm parts and ammo.

Trusting that this does not affect things too much when I have items mailed to my Ogdensburg, NY address.

Great way to —

(a) reduce use of the USPS
(b) create a new process crime of lying to the USPS by not ACCURATELY describing the contents and their purpose.

You know that it may not be soon but it is still only a matter of time before this becomes applicable to packages shipped within the United States.

From the article,
“The new month is bringing new changes for postal customers. New customs rules for shipping packages to Europe are going into effect starting March 1”

These regulations will make it mandatory for you to list each item in your package with a "specific, accurate description" on the customs declaration form.

That's all fine and dandy but, I must ask...how will USPS verify the accuracy of these descriptions?

Aditionally, there is this;

For example, you can't just say 'electronics'; you have to be specific about the type of electronics, like 'computer,' 'mobile phone,' or 'television,'" the USPS further explains.

I can certainly see where this would make it so much easier for Postal Employees to identify which packages they would wish to open and steal contents from.

It’s not new USPS rules, it’s new customs rules for shipping to Europe. And no, not a death blow to anything.

During covid my niece was exposed. She asked me to send her a z-pack and some ivermectin, I had the z-pack so I said I would send it that day and I would get the ivermectin and send it as soon as I could.

I put the z pack in a bubble envelope and it made a little rattling sound because it was in a box and bubble pack and the mail lady actually asked me if it was medication well I freaked out and I do not like to lie but I looked her right in the face and said it’s jewelry.

So when I was ready to send the ivermectin I decided I was not going back to USPS I would go to FedEx and I’ll be ding dang darned if that guy didn’t ask me if it was medicine also.

I don’t know how many times during the supposed pandemic I was mailing medications to family and friends and no one ever asked if it was medication until then. I felt like a wanted fugitive, lol.

The left, trying to make felons out of law abiding g citizens again. The person will describe something wrong, the fbi and swat teams will show up in middle of night, arres the person for “making a false statement about the contents” and become an I start felon.

Gee, ain’t that fun?

This is to let the recipient country know how much to tax the shipment.

Needless to say, the customs form that the USPS uses has only a tiny little space to list all the information they are demanding.

Thank you for referencing that article cuz1961. Please note that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

"USPS Congress Is Making New Changes to Your Mail, Starting Tomorrow"

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

This is a rarity. The states have expressly constitutionally given the very corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification feds the specific power to run the US Mail Service.

"Article I, Section 8, Clause 7: To establish Post Offices and post Roads;"

H O W E V E R...

Patriots, please don't overlook that career lawmakers who hide behind non-popularly elected USPS bureaucrats are ultimately constitutionally responsible for anything that USPS does.

So if citizens are of the opinion that Congress is abusing its power to run the mail service by using it to effectively weaken their constitutionally enumerated protection against warrantless searches, then patriots certainly have more primarying of RINOs to do in 2024.

"4th Amendment: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

Why not all new MAGA Republican faces in Congress in 2024?

Patriots, the bottom line is this imo. What is your threshold of “pain” for peacefully stopping unconstitutionally big state and federal governments controlled by bully, constitutionally undefined political parties, from oppressing the people under their boots?

The inevitable remedy for ongoing, post-17A ratification, corrupt political party treason (imo)...

All MAGA patriots need to wake up their RINO federal and state lawmakers by making the following clear to them.

If they don’t publicly support either a resolution, or a Constitutional Convention, to effectively "secede" ALL the states from the unconstitutionally big federal government by amending the Constitution to repeal the 16th (direct taxes) and 17th (popular voting for federal senators) Amendments (16&17A), doing so before the primary elections in 2024, that YOU will primary them.

If the proposed amendment was limited strictly to repealing 16&17A, relatively little or ideally no discussion would be needed before ratification of the amendment imo.

With 16&17A out of the way, my hope is that Trump 47 becomes the FIRST president of a truly constitutionally limited power federal government.

In the meanwhile, I'm not holding my breath for significant MAGA legislation to appear in the first 100 days of new term for what may still prove to be another RINO-controlled House.

Trump will hopefully do another round of primarying RINOs for 2024 elections.
