Teachers’ union president Randi Weingarten got attention on social media for her emotional display outside the Supreme Court on Tuesday.
A Student Debt Crisis Center’s rally was held in response to the Supreme Court listening to a pair of challenges to President Biden’s plan to forgive $10,000 in federal student loans for individuals making less than $125,000 per year or households earning less than $250,000 annually. Weingarten broke down during her speech.
"And frankly, and this is what really pisses me off," Weingarten said. "During the pandemic, we understood that small businesses were hurting, and we helped them, and it didn’t go to the Supreme Court to challenge it. Big businesses were hurting, and we helped them, and it didn't go to the Supreme Court to challenge it."

The definition of human garbage.
These jerks think if they are angry, it makes them right!
Keep funding the failing education system.
Randi, the assistance you mentioned was passed by both the House and Senate and signed by the President.
In the case of student loans Biden is in essence cancelling voluntary contractual arrangements without the benefit of the House and Senate.
I find her temper tantrum unconvincing.
Don't do it.
“During the pandemic, we understood that small businesses were hurting, and we helped them...”
BS. Small businesses were thrown under the bus and left bankrupt. As is always the case, the government bailed out BIG businesses and the businesses of the well connected and political donation classes. Small Mom & Pop operations like restaurants, retail stores, beauty salons, etc., were denied PPP loans en masse.
That dumbass commie b!tch needs to get a clue.
She’s in charge of educating millions and millions of children. That right there should make parents a bit uncomfortable, if they can add 2 + 2.
Yawn. Just another mooching looting rent-seeker. A parasite.
Really? You say that as if facts, the law and principles matter to these people.
I was an involuntary member of Weingarten‘s union (AFT) for decades. It was mandatory at the time.
Now here’s the interesting thing. I never was allowed to vote for my state and national leaders. So I never had the chance to vote Weingarten out. All state and national leaders are chosen by hand-picked delegates at conventions. It’s kinda like how the old USSR used to run things.
The AFT preaches democracy and fair play. But it’s one of the most undemocratic organizations around.
Never before has a nation had so many demented and often overtly senile old ladies elected and appointed to high office and positions of power. Its questionable if America will preserve this bizarre phenomena.
Test scores show the teachers are doing a great job under her leadership.
This demented lezzie Weingarten looks like a younger Roger Waters. .... They both are loony left loud mouths!
Randi Weingarten carries a commie stench about her...
You nailed that one. My first thought as well.
On October 11, 2007, Weingarten publicly announced she is a lesbian. By December 2012, she was in a relationship with Rabbi Sharon Kleinbaum of Congregation Beit Simchat Torah.[146] They married March 25, 2018.[147][148]
Student debt issue is independent of the economy
It was building up well before covid
Can’t hang your hat on that one
Its about people, primarily women, getting useless degrees and spending tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars for it, and they have no man to marry and assume their debt for them.
2/3 of the debt is held by women, who don’t want to be held to the contracts they signed to pay it back.
Its the main reason why they are trying to get it forgiven. No one cared about men’s college debt when men mostly made up the people attending college. Of course a much higher percentage of men go to get a useful degree.
How much is her kickback from schools and financial institutions if the taxpayers are forced to pay for student loans?
