Fox's Brian Kilmeade tries to find a DeSantis voter in a MAGA crowd but fails miserably

Fox & Friends' Brian Kilmeade got it wrong (per usual) when he said Gov. Ron DeSantis "is winning over Americans."

Visiting a Florida diner this morning where MAGA folk were chowing down on breakfast, he doggedly surveyed the crowd to see "Who's your man, who's your woman?" for 2024.

But no matter who he asked, the answer was always "Donald Trump," or in one instance, "Trump and Nikki Haley."

The only one who uttered DeSantis' name was a woman wearing a DeSantis T-shirt, but even she said she'd be just as happy with Trump.

Fox science at its finest.

Kilmeade desperately trying to find someone in a FL diner who wants Desantis for president. It doesn’t go well. pic.twitter.com/IxJPYa9lVF— Ron Filipkowski 🇺🇦 (@RonFilipkowski) February 28, 2023

I live in the same general area where Brian Kilmeade was broadcasting from today.

When DeSantis was a Congressman, his district probably included people that were at that diner this morning.

The other thing to consider that area where they were broadcasting from is a very conservative, very wealthy and elderly area.

There are quite a few Floridians who don’t want to give their governor up yet.

Perhaps irrelevant, in this age of election-theft by computer, but these people are woefully uninformed! It’s freakin’ scary!

Nothing in the clip suggests that Kilmeade wanted specifically to find DeSantis voters. But if it helps you sleep better, fine.

Stupid! Why would a DeSantis supporter attend a Trump rally?

Perhaps if Trump would stop some of his childish antics he would be unstoppable? I love Trump, but I think a lot of Republicans have soured on his antics. I can tell you right now that myself, my wife, and my best fried are all hard-core conservatives and we are all holding our powder and will consider DeSantis. Additionally, ever since his election in 2016, Trump has managed to fire up every left-wing moonbat in the country who just viscerally hate the guy (typically for stupid reasons). Trump could never win a Reagan-style landslide b/c his presence on the ticket guarantees a strong Dem. turnout.

Of course not. Just like Kathy Barnette never supported BLM, CRT, etc. but that didn’t stop him from finding things saying she did and posting them.

It’s just a Florida diner, not a Trump rally, stupid.

‘or in one instance, “Trump and Nikki Haley.”’

I guess there’s always one nutjob in any crowd.

“Nothing in the clip suggests that Kilmeade wanted specifically to find DeSantis voters.”

Well, except for that “Fox” logo in the bottom left.

Nobody said he wanted just Desantis. But when he got 6 Trump’s in a row and no Desantis you could see he wanted “A” Desantis. He stopped and surveyed the room and ran to the lady with the DeSantis shirt and she said Trump, too. Then he called it off. No big deal but you guys are making a bigger deal out of it than me with all of your excuses.

Paul Ryan’s minions are DESPERATE to prevent Trump from becoming the Republican nominee.

But they’ll fail.

So they’ll have to plan to defeat Trump in November. And with the Democrats in charge of AZ, WI, MI, and PA, they’ve got the defeat Trump/Republican mechanisms already in place.

I fully agree with you that Trump has been great on our issues....but, at some point you have to act somewhat presidential. His “antics” don’t bother me that much, but they do bother a lot of lukewarm Republican and Independent women in the suburbs and elsewhere. We just got our assess kicked in the 2018 and 2022 midterms mainly because of female voters. It is just a fact that Trump instantly brings out the moonbats and gins up Democrat turnout. Trump won in 2016 because Dem turnout was depressed because of the Hillary/Bernie fisasco and the belief among a lot of Dems that Trump, who had a history of taking liberal positions on a lot of issues, would be a “deal-maker” and be kind of like Nixon.
