'This could have been a homicide': Horror moment hulking 6'6 schoolboy weighing 270lbs has to be dragged off an unconscious female teaching aide he knocked out and pummeled for taking away his Nintendo Switch

In a horrifying moment, a 6'6' schoolboy who weighs 270 pounds knocked a female teaching aide unconscious and severely beat her for taking away his handheld Nintendo Switch.

The 17-year-old Matanzas High School student from Palm Coast, Florida who was not named due to his age, violently attacked the teaching aide after telling another student he was 'going to kill her' for taking his game away on Tuesday.

***

In surveillance footage, released by the Flagler County Sheriff's Office, the hulking student can be seen rushing up to the teacher, who was also not identified, before launching her across the room, her body flying several feet.

She hits the ground head-first, rendering her unconscious. The special needs student immediately begins kicking her before kneeling down to punch her in the head and torso.

Another woman runs up to the student and grabs his arm, but is unable to pull him off the aide before several others rush to drag him off her. Even after they manage to push him to the ground, he still reaches his leg out to hit her a few more times.

It takes five staff members to restrain and drag him away from her body as he fought against them.

The Flagler County Sheriff's Office found the woman with 'severe injuries' and she was transported to the hospital for treatment.

The teen claimed he would 'beat her up every time she takes away his game,' and spit on the teacher as deputies escorted him away, according to the arrest report.

The student was arrested and taken to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility, before being turned over to the Department of Juvenile Justice. He was charged with Felony Aggravated Battery with Bodily Harm, which is punishable up to five years in Florida.

Should have been euthanized on the spot. Wild animal. Public danger.

He was a special needs kid.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Makes me wonder if he’s going to ‘get off’ with light or no punishment due to mental status. His question to the cops as he was being hooked up “am I going to jail?” The comment about not wanting to go to jail because he had other things/more important things to do .... seemingly oblivious to consequences. Just hearing him talk (voice) didn’t sound ‘normal’.

Here we go again with this article...

This student was a SPECIAL NEEDS student.

The woman was a paraprofessional - she worked in the wing with the special needs students.

Other sources are saying:

- She was new to this position at the school.
- The special needs students are permitted to play videogames to calm down.

So, she took a videogame from a 6’6” special needs student who needed it to calm down.

Woke school will blame teacher for provocation.

“SPECIAL NEEDS” NEED separate school-—PERIOD

I understand your frustration, but, alas, that is not how it works. “Special Needs” means he has an Individualized Education Program (IEP) which Federal Law requires that he be taught in the ‘least restrictive’ environment possible. This means he must be in a ‘regular’ classroom as much as possible—next to the normal kids.

While he may face legal consequences for trying to kill the teacher’s aide, his school cannot really punish him if part of his ‘handicap’ includes occasional complete loss of self control and physical violence.

It gets worse. If the school determines that he needs to be in a separate school for teachers’ and other students’ safety, the district and its taxpayers are on the hook for paying for it. If two or three regular teachers have to be let go to pay for his education, so be it. His educational rights trump everyone else’s.

And for the cherry on the top, his district and its taxpayers have to pay for his ‘education’ for 12 months per year until he turns twenty-one.

He was in a separate wing with other special needs students at the school.

This woman was working in that wing. She was a paraprofessional. She took the job to work with these students. She was fairly new to the job (per another source).

It can be a rewarding job, but it can be a tough job, especially when a special needs student with behavioral problems grows to this size.

Some sources are saying these students are given videogames to play to calm down.

I get your point; don’t know that I agree with it, but I get it.

But consider, the lad in question is 17 years old. One year from adulthood. Somehow, in the 10 or 11 years he’s been going to school as a “special needs” student he has yet to learn how to react with frustration without resorting to violence. Somehow the school has failed to teach him this.

This time next year he’ll be an adult, still handicapped, who is likely to fly into a murderous rage at the smallest provocation. His handicap notwithstanding, he is not a human that other humans will be safe around.

He needs to be hung, hanging from a pole in front of the school. Deterrence notice to other feral blacks.

I get your point, too.

We just need to read the story in context. (Both the Left and the Right jump to conclusions on every story.)

There are many job openings for people to work with adults with special needs. No degree required. "Paraprofessionals" are in high demand. It can be a rewarding job, but these situations happen, too, which is why I have never applied for one of these jobs.

I don't think this student should be put into a prison. He should be sentenced to a mental health institution. The question is, do those institutions still exist?

The 17 year old thug's special need is to brutally beat a white woman. He knew exactly what he was doing.

His mental issues are “factors” but that kind of behavior cannot be tolerated. He should face some significant consequences. And I hope that school has kept their liability premiums up to date.

So typical of the self-righteous and privileged imperialist-capitalist white supremacist “teacher” to deprive a hard-working youngster, already burdened by the yoke of trans-generational oppression, of such a simple pleasure as a Nintendo Switch.

He also faces expulsion from the school.

And to think the fine young man will be forcibly deprived of an education, thus perpetuating the cycle of poverty and injustice.

I’m sure some still exist, but not in the numbers that they used to. Whether or not he ends up in one that gives some of the help he needs, I don’t know. What the school and the teacher’s aide might well have been dealing with is an unstable four-year old in a big grown man’s body. I cannot imagine what will become of him.

Had the security guard moved with proper urgency, perhaps the woman would not have been injured so badly. He casually walked up to the crime scene, allowing the perp to get in several more blows to the victim's head.

I saw that, disgraceful

So while people will say “so cruel to talk about hangings” remember there are future victims somewhere today who will be in great danger someday soon from his violence.

They should be the ones we feel sorry for and should work to save.
