Despite what is at stake, the administration is still too slow in getting critical weapon systems to Ukraine. Ukraine right now has only enough weapons to prevent an outright Russian takeover, but not to secure victory in driving Russian forces out of the country. This strategy of incrementalism and hesitation will only prolong this conflict and lead to more Russian war crimes, crimes against humanity and other atrocities.
The administration has recently committed to provide M1 Abrams tanks, as well as longer range Ground Launched Small Diameter Bombs (GLSDB) – this is encouraging. Unfortunately, these new systems were committed too late and won’t arrive for many months, missing the start of the Russian offensive.
For Ukraine’s offensive to reach its full potential, which will likely begin in the spring, they still need more air defense systems, longer-range artillery, armor, armed drones, fighter jets and most urgently, Ukraine needs the Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS), which can hit critical Russian targets currently out of range. These targets include the military bases, fuel and ammunition depots and staging areas for Iranian drones in Crimea.

Why not just cut straight to the chase and nuke Moscow?
There’s been numerous articles saying the military equipment we are promising Ukraine could take a year or more to deliver, so what s Ukraine supposed to do in the meantime? Just more talking heads talking bs.
Remarkable is that they all of a sudden care about borders.

While I’m a big Ukraine supporter, it’s a tough call to push for a speedy victory that might result in Russian escalation.
Winning and doing it quickly is the most moral way to resolve a war. (Surrender generally is not moral).
I have to question Gen Keane, he spent many weeks predicting that Ukraine would fall, even after the Russian invasion got bogged down outside Kiev.
F’n neocons haven’t had a victory in years. Just what is a victory McCaul? What do we as the American people get? Ukraine is not America, isn’t anywhere near it, and it would be nice if these scumbags spent some time worrying about us.
That might be my #1 gripe with FOX. Always been a little to chummy with the Neoconservatives.

Well, you know, it would already be over if the US had just decided not to get involved in a European war in the first place.
We invade countries all the time. All over the world. We’ve been doing it for decades. It’s kind of our thing. But, every time Russia does something like that, we totally freak out and act like it’s totally unacceptable.
We are such hypocrites. And some people like the Forever War. Just walk away. End the war, by stopping the shipments of money and weapons. It would be a humanitarian act.
