Diversity, equity, and inclusion, or DEI, has become a driving force in hiring practices across America. It’s replacing equal employment opportunity, EEO, in today’s discussions when new employees are recruited.
Within major corporations, universities, and elsewhere, executives specializing in DEI have become common. As these entities upgrade to the more fashionable DEI officers, EEO managers will become obsolete.
Why? They serve the same purpose, right?
Wrong! In fact, it’s not even close.
When America’s woke progressives successfully snookered the nation into accepting equity (the impractical pursuits of equal outcomes) as a replacement for equality (equal opportunity) the ballgame changed, majorly. The topline issue is no longer about hiring the applicant with the best credentials to do the work. Today, training and experience for a job barely count with DEI employers.
A quote by investigative historian A.E. Samaan summarizes the problem: “You can’t have ‘equal opportunity’ if you put your thumb on the scales in an effort to force equal results.” The equity thumb negates equality. That’s pretty straightforward, but it’s where diversity and inclusion come into play. They are used to getting to equity, bypassing those formerly pesky EEO hurdles known as job qualifications.
So, how do diversity and inclusion make that happen?
First, definitions of the base words for those two terms, diverse and inclusive, help illuminate the answer. Diverse can be defined as, “differing from one another” and a simple two-word definition for inclusive is, “including everyone”.

My manager, when conducting interviews for a position in my company, told me that 1 of the candidates was a “she-male”. It was fairly well qualified. I told him that when I hired people for positions in the past, our HR department said I could disqualify a person based on my position that they “would not be a good fit” and that’s it. I told him i hope he thought this person wouldn’t be a good fit!
Conservatives should ALWAYS use DIE for Diversity, Inclusion and Equity mandates. What difference does it make if we change the order? You’re going to have to go through Special High Intensity Training to understand it! Think about that. Words matter and the order of the words matter when it comes to acronyms!
It’s just discrimination against White males.
Period. Nothing more.
It’s all about bringing about Socialism.
All opposition to socialism is racist.
And we know that the Original Sin is *gasp* Racism so only Sinners can be against Sacred Socialism

I’ve got a great idea. Let’s establish a medical school and have only members of the “protected classes” be allowed to enter it, or teach at it. Then put all “graduates” in one practice. Let’s also establish a flight school, using the same criteria, and hire all the “graduates” to staff one airline. Diversity Doctors, Inc. and Diversity Airlines, Inc.
Then we insist that all the advocates of DEI tyranny use ONLY those two companies for all their medical and airline services.
And watch them scream.
“When America’s woke progressives successfully snookered the nation into accepting equity…”
And, I reject this premise.
Word. DIE (and progressives) are destroying America.
Gestapo like departments in corporations that will oversee and administer direction for the hiring practices of DEI. This is a cancer that will over rule experience, logic, best candidates and whiteness. South africa here we come
Much more appropriate is SOB (Special Opportunities for Blacks).
Our parents fought the prejudice battles, I was part of a female quota in law school, these inclusion mandates are total bull hockey, and what ever happened to hiring on merit and aptitude? Do we have to hire an overweight or too short basketball player under inclusion? or a surgeon with no hands? The whole thing is complete crap.
Even that is not true, because there are many who are not included or even considered if they have the wrong "values".
