China accused the US of hypocrisy over spying Monday, claiming the Biden administration had flown more than 10 high-altitude balloons in its airspace over the past year – a claim Washington categorically denied.
The Chinese allegation came nine days after the US military shot down a Beijing spy balloon that had crossed from Alaska to South Carolina, sparking a new crisis in relations between the two powers that were already at their lowest level in decades.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin offered no evidence to back up the claim about the US balloons, such as how they had been dealt with or whether they had government or military links.

I wrongly thought it was all just a distraction, when really it was all part of the international game of nuclear chicken.
I wonder how many Chinamen it takes to blow one of those balloons up. It only takes one F-22 Raptor.

I posted about this yesterday, search YouTube for Ham Radio Balloons, a bunch of Ham Radio operators, clubs and many other private individuals put up balloons for a hobby, research, etc.
Some of these balloons can stay up for months if not a couple of years and can go up to 80,000 to 100,000 ft in altitude.
I was watching a video yesterday about this issue, and this particular operator talked about a balloon he put up that was up for about 1.5 years and passed over China many times circling the globe.
The balloon was transmitting a locator beacon the entire time.
Certainly, the Chinese picked it up and proclaim the USA is sending balloons over our country, which is technically true but misleading.
Who to believe, Biden, or the Chi-Coms? Sadly, it’s tough to know.

Eglin AFB just announced yesterday that a weather experiment was going to be conducted there this week and RED WEATHER BALLOONS would be seen floating across the area................

I found one of those balloons. Kids released them from their school about 50 miles away. I returned the card telling them where it was found.

Yes, and they lie a lot.
So does the Davos Crowd.
They can both pound sand.
This is possible.
The USA did this a ton to the Soviet Union to the point the Russians modified a high altitude cargo (? can’t remember) plane and put a AAA cannon on top that looked a bit like the guns on the millennium Falcon. Old school with sustained fire so you could tear apart the balloon. (They don’t pop and holes are of limited value.)
I suggest the USA adopt this approach, but stick Israel’s Iron Beam laser on top. It’s cheap and could be quickly implemented. Per round cost is next to nothing and nothing falls on the ground (bullets eventually fall).

If the US did that, China has every right to shoot them down.
