The Sun has always fascinated astronomers. And now, a new development has baffled scientists. A huge part of the Sun broke off of its surface and created a tornado-like swirl around its North Pole. Though scientists are trying to analyse how this occurred, the video of the development has stunned the space community.

Hank Johnson (D-GA) was heard fretting over the chance that the sun may capsize. ...but Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) offered encouragement, suggesting the sun would likely capsize only if we land more astronauts on Mars.

The sun is entirely gaseous. It produces gas.
It ejected a gaseous mass, which it does reguarly.

Well it certainly would not be hot by the time it reaches earth. The nuclear reactions that Herat the sun occur at the core. A piece of matter breaking off from the sun would no longer be heated and would rapidly cool.
It’s also unlikely that, despite the description, this piece of solar matter would be large enough to be an appreciable fraction of the sun’s mass, so the gravitational effect would likely be negligible and earth’s orbit little affected. Basically, assuming it actually was emitted in our direction, it would be a large solar flare, something that is not a particularly uncommon or dangerous occurrence.

Do you think an international team of respected LGBTQ assholomers will call this one "Heranus", or "Hisanus", or "Myanus"? (That could start a whole new series of endless gas vs. electrostatic discharge threads here.)

Yes that means smaller sun, less sunshine, ice age will come sooner.
Partner, you hit a homer on that one.
Yes a smaller sun would mean a colder earth and it is as plain as day.
