RUSSIA has hundreds of thousands of soldiers, thousands of tanks, and hundreds of warplanes preparing for a new assault, Ukraine has warned.
Vladimir Putin is believed to be preparing for a massive new offensive in the coming weeks to coincide with the first anniversary of the war in February 24.
Ukraine has been monitoring the military build up as they continue to plea for Western support - including during Volodymyr Zelensky's visit yesterday to London.
Zelensky hailed the UK for its support - but warned it may not be enough, and called for modern fighter planes.
The new assault is feared to be "much bigger" than the first wave which stormed across the country towards Kyiv almost exactly one year ago.
Russia is believed to be massing 1,800 tanks, 3,950 armoured vehicles, 400 fighter jets and 300 helicopters for the attack, according to a Ukrainian official. ***

Russia historically has tolerated losses of 500K or more before calling it quits.

Russia has lots of people, but those numbers are very low rates of armor and artillery per solider.
Putin’s plan is to send 500,000 lightly armed raw recruits across the border in hopes that the Ukrainians run out of bullets faster than the Russians run out of men.

Several months ago the MSM had the Russians down to using T-62s. By now I guess they’re dusting off WW2 T-42s!
Russia wouldn't be in Ukraine if not for the fact we fomented an insurrection there, installed a government of Ukrainian nationalists and neo-Nazis hostile to both Russia and ethnic Russians in Ukraine and teased NATO membership for Ukraine.
We worked hard to make this war happen. It's a result of our aggression. Our political elite and their financial backers thought they could beat Russia in proxy war and then raid Russia of money and resources like they've done in Ukraine.
Enough of the lies and bullsh$t neocon/liberal world order narratives. Too many of us know the truth.

They are cheering for Putin for the same reason Democrats were cheering Saddam, and possibly Al Qaeda too. Pure tribalism. There are no foreign enemies, only 'allies' at war with your domestic enemies.
