Alyssa Farah Griffin told her co-host Thursday on ABC’s “The View” that Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) was “overhyped” as a potential 2024 presidential candidate.
Griffin said, “On DeSantis, I think he is so overhyped. I’m just going, to be honest, I’ve seen Trump take out every mini version of Trump for the last five years. I think right now, the party wants something other than Trump. They want Trump light, so they are boosting and hyping DeSantis. He doesn’t do national interviews. He does nothing on the national stage. I think he will implode once Trump goes after him and keeps going after him. My sense is this, how ugly this got this quickly is remarkable and spells for a very bad two years. Trump went straight to you’re a groomer. Maybe save that for June before the primary.”

Why do you think the left stealing 2020 from DJT won't occur in '24 if it's DeSantis?
The only reason that makes sense to me that he'd have a chance of DJT is that DeSantis is compromised, in the way that both bushes were.
The deepstate/antifa mules complex will absolutely will steal the election again. DeSantis won't win as many votes as Trump did in 2020. But truthfully neither will Trump.
Seems obvious that the left wants Trump to be the nominee. They are not afraid of him the way they are afraid of DeSantis.

Lol. That’s probably the very best argument against a third party that I’ve ever heard but I’m still sticking with Trump. Deep changes need to be made. In some respects, Trump exercised executive power with great autonomy when he was in office. Trump single-handedly started a trade war with China. You know that wasn’t popular with the donor class. No, he’s the guy that we send into battle.
Because in 2024 as now, RDS has a greater percentage of conservative support over Trump.
That anti-Trump support will be enough to push DeSantis over the top despite rampant and regular election fraud by the Rats.
Trump himself could have overcome the Steal in 2020 had he sent the National Guard in places like Portland and Minneapolis. And had he fired Fauci and handled Covid correctly.
Since when does a potential republican candidate for President have The New York Times and Associated Press run favorable stories about them? Yeah, why would they do that you think? Is it maybe because DeSantis is on their team?

Well and dont take this the wrong way but Imma guess you are pre-supposing as most on FR do that there is no continuity of government currently in play. That there is no plan to take down the deep state cabal that has controlled our government for over 50 years. That everything that has been happening especially in the past 24 months is just all coincidental.
I don’t subscribe to that theory. In my view Trump did everything he was supposed to do in his first four years. And he’s been doing everything he’s supposed to do these past two years. He’s hiding in plain sight. Remember when he said he didn’t sign the insurrection act because he wanted everyone to see how bad it would be if things were run poorly. Well now everyone is seeing and most people who were not awake two years ago are awake now.
So in answer to your question Trump was successful in his first four years and he’s currently successful in this time period of the plan and there just isn’t a part for Ron DeSantis to play because he’s cozied up to the wrong team and Trump is going to be taking them out. Its not personal.
There’s a huge game being played and most of it is behind a curtain. Ask yourself why are you even concerning yourself over who’s going to be the Republican nominee when we all know that if 2020 doesn’t get fixed Jesus Christ couldn’t get elected on the GOP ticket in 2024.
Trump has effectively taken control of the US House of Representatives. Do you think Kevin McCarthy just woke up one day and decided not to be a deep state RINO anymore? No is the correct answer. Those trips he took to Mara-Lago? The President and I mean the President and some other scary people likely gave Kevin some options. My guess is Kevin McCarthy doesn’t go to the toilet without consulting Trump.
So when I post on these threads I’m working on a whole different assumption about the big picture. Ron DeSantis is just blip on the screen of what’s really happening. You may disagree but you asked me what I think and that’s what I think.

I suppose one can find a stray favorable piece about anybody in the MSM if he or she looks hard enough. But the MSM is clearly, very clearly, NOT on the DeSantis team.

What about your other claims about the new financial system, taking down the Fed and med-beds? There’s more to the story of Trump I simply don’t believe the Q narrative. It’s never birthed fruit. Like lockdowns being instituted not due to covid, but because Trump was going to take down the deep staters across the globe and we’d be safe inside. Every Boom, Kraken and any day now, has fizzled into ash.
Well 2018, 2020, and 2022 were all trump endorsed candidates. Are we better off? When trump won in 2016, we had the trifecta. Now due to him being the head of the party, we barely have crumbs.
