TRUMP SAYS IT’S POSSIBLE TO HAVE A POSITIVE RELATIONSHIP WITH CHINA IF IT’S BASED ON ‘MUTUAL RESPECT’

In a new Truth Social post, President Trump called for common sense when it comes to dealing with China, pointing out that a “great relationship” with the superpower was possible if it was based on “MUTUAL respect.”

“So much talk now about the threat of China,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Question: Who was the first person, way back in 2015, and before, that brought China to the attention of ALL, with many refusing to accept what was being so strongly and brilliantly stated? Why, surprise, it was Donald J. Trump, of course! BUT, with all of that being said, we can have a great relationship with China, but it has to be one of MUTUAL respect. Right now they have ZERO respect for the USA, two years ago it was at record levels!”

'DISGRACE': Trump goes OFF on the Chinese spy balloon situationhttps://t.co/pn4a0MUfC0— RSBN 🇺🇸 (@RSBNetwork) February 7, 2023

President Trump’s comments come shortly after the now-infamous Chinese spy balloon was allowed to drift across the U.S. last week, carving an aerial trail from Alaska to the East Coast, where it was shot down by the U.S. military right off the coast of South Carolina.

“The Chinese Balloon situation is a disgrace, just like the Afghanistan horror show, and everything else surrounding the grossly incompetent Biden Administration,” Trump wrote over the weekend.

The president also recently released a video addressing the internal threat of Chinese espionage on U.S. soil, decrying their influence in every area of American life. “It’s rarely even mentioned that China has many thousands of spies working in the United States in business, finance, academia, technology, media, and likely, even government, sadly,” he said.

He promised to act swiftly to stop the threat of Chinese espionage in America if he is elected president again in 2024, vowing to halt their theft of American secrets. “Instead of hunting down Republicans, a reformed FBI and Justice Department will be hunting down Chinese spies,” Trump said.

China only respect strength, part of the problem right now is that China’s leader has bought into his own propaganda so much that he actually thinks he’s as strong as the US, so he’s acting like it, and none of his advisors have the guts to tell him the truth.

There’s an old saying about the Huns “if they’re not at your feet, they’re at your throat.” It also applies to communists.

I respect that the government of Taiwan is the legitimate government over all China and that the junta in Beijing is not.

Who was the first person, way back in 2015,

I think most American patriots were aware that China was a problem in the 1990s.

central_va: when did you coin the term "Free Traitors"?

No communist country deserves respect, nor will they ever give it unless forced to do so.

I think they would respect a 25% import tariff. Everything else is BS. Money talks BS walks.

“Show us how, Mr. President, by starting with Ron DeSantis.’

Thank you. China deserves more respect than DeSantis?

Yes, but that would require you to appear ‘mean’, Mr. President.

The fragile ‘feelings’ of the Karens could not bear that kind of behavior.

Most of those on this thread seem to speak as if the US still has the resources to do anything at all, militarily, economically, politically, about the CCP.

And the alternative is...?

Exactly!

All the posters on this thread that pooh-poohed the idea are NeverTrumpers and DeSantis supporters, so, don't expect any actual objectivity from them.
