I get the feeling that many people here post responses without actually reading/watching the original source. Lazy, ill informed, and disingenuous.
The goal of the left is to subsidize the housing so the poor can then, if they choose, move into the rich neighborhoods and integrate there. Seed them in the wealth and let them germinate is the way they are looking at it.

Neighborhoods tend to get integrated naturally through upward and downward mobility. What she’s talking about is placing newfangled housing projects in suburban neighborhoods, because the oldfangled housing projects were such wonderful successes./s

I think you misunderstand the intent behind this, and how it will go. It won’t be the ghetto blacks forced to “act white”, but rather the white victims of this tyranny forced to endure the chaos imported into their neighborhoods because of their new neighbors “acting black.” That will naturally be followed by the whites moving out of those neighborhoods, fleeing to communities farther out from the city, only to be chased again a few years later by the same policies importing urban “yutes” and other wonders of “diversity” into their new communities once again.
The obvious purpose is to eventually chase whites completely out of the picture, just as they did with white farmers in Zimbabwe and are doing now in South Africa. The inevitable result is always utter chaos, rampant crime, societal degradation, and eventually murder of those whites who don’t leave, but they don’t care about that. In fact, it’s their goal.
I remember ‘Forced Integration’ AKA ‘Bussing’ of the 70’s.
