PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Democratic Party on Saturday approved reordering its 2024 presidential primary, replacing Iowa with South Carolina in the leadoff spot as part of a major shake-up meant to empower Black and other minority voters critical to its base of support.
Although more changes are possible later this year, the formal endorsement by the Democratic National Committee during its meeting in Philadelphia is an acknowledgement that the start of the 2024 primary will look very different from the one in 2020. Hundreds of party stalwarts climbed to their feet and cheered after the easy passage by voice vote.
States with early contests play a major role in determining the nominee because White House hopefuls struggling to raise money or gain political traction often drop out before visiting states outside the first five. Media attention and policy debates concentrate in those areas, too.

Yep. The black voters in SC can be manipulated easily. They will have a harder time with white voters in Iowa and New Hampshire so they may not get with the program.
New Hampshire will still go on Jan 23.

When the democRATS are out of power, they have many methods, fraudulent and not, during the primaries and general election. Sometimes they run a person who ‘appears’ more conservative. This is useful in several ways. They might do it in a more conservative area to win, or to just draw votes away from a real conservative. Any democRAT, even though they spout conservative words, will always vote with the other RATS if elected. There are no ‘mavericks’ in the RAT Party. In the general election (for State, Federal, local, whatever) the RATS run a real liberal leftist, and another one who appears conservative. The two conservatives split their votes, and the real RAT wins. Remember, Billy Boy Clinton never reached 51% due to the third party runs.
Today, now that the RATS have printed sooooo much money, they will perform even more fraud. Candidates will hide in the basement and bathrooms (Arizona). I believe the good and the light will eventually prevail. I just hope we can in my lifetime.
Makes sense, they will be able to rig the primary much earlier this way. The Democrats have been taken over by the CCP, Republican Establishment gave them an inch to get rid of Trump and now guess what... every election in our country will be rigged going forward until we are destroyed or they quit holding elections because “elections are racist”.
To cut down on all the money grubbing shenanigans party primaries should be held on the same day.
Not a bad idea but we would have to do them again to do the runoff because no one will get over 50%.
I wrote that 37% of the state was non-white.
That includes Black, Hispanic, Caribbean, Asian, north African, and Middle East voters who typically vote 75%-80% Democrat as a group.
This is totally about defeating the uber-leftist/populists who elected Obama (Zero) over Hillary (Cankles) and rewarding SC who saved Rutabaga’s dead campaign in 2020 and the “traditional” state primaries.
