American officials estimate that nearly 200,000 Russian troops have been killed or wounded in Moscow’s nearly yearlong conflict with Ukraine, The New York Times reported.
The rising number of casualties is driven in part by heavy fighting in Bakhmut and Soledar in eastern Ukraine, where Russia is increasingly sending poorly trained recruits and convicts to the front lines in an effort to deplete Ukrainian artillery, according to the Times.
However, officials have warned that the casualty numbers — which are based on satellite imagery, intercepted communications, social media, on-the-ground reporting and official government numbers — are difficult to estimate and imprecise.

If I’m reading this story right, the Ukrainians haven’t lost a single man. Way to go, guys.
Russians do not care about deaths as long as they win victories. They do not suffer from what I call: “Bodybagaphobia” like America. We lose all these people to drugs, gang violence, road traffic, etc... But if we lost a small fraction of that in war—its a big deal. One thousand men dead and we would sue for peace! We have no stomach for war that isn’t push button, killing folks by air, etc... We can kill hundreds of thousands of “ragheads” without blinking. BUT when facing a professional army we should lose that advantage—as we may soon discover in Ukraine.
A good rule of thumb is to half the estimate of enemy killed.
Even 100K is horrific.

The Brits are claiming 2 BILLION Russians killed and injured - which is more than the population of China, but I doubt the Western Media will challenge that number.
what ever the true number is, you can bet the Ukraine loss is 3 times the amount. Thats a lot of dead people who are pushing daisies for the corrupt leaders of all the countries involved in money laundering, land grab, bio warfare labs, child trafficking etc, while the ordinary citizen just wants to be left alone.
How many are men versus women? Where are the women libbers?
