Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) used a press conference Wednesday to make clear his response to recent mass shootings in California will be to limit concealed carry.
The Sacramento Bee reported Newsom is rallying behind Senate Bill 2, which tightens concealed carry permit issuance requirements in response to the Supreme Court of the United States’ Bruen (2022) decision.
That decision struck down New York’s proper cause requirement for concealed carry permit issuance, which, as result, also gutted California’s “good cause” requirement.

So a group of folks were unfortunetely unarmed and unable to protect themselves agaisnt a gunman, and Newsomes first act is to further prevent citizens from being able to defend themselves? He should be called to the carpet for further endangering the lives of citizens, and booted from office for dereliction of duty

Limit conceal carry for innocent people....he’s right to do this as it is the cause of “mass shootings”.... because letting criminals out of jail, being a sanctuary state and not prosecuting crimes is definitely NOT the problem for all these shootings!

Nobody obeys laws in California. It is in a complete state of societal breakdown.
Repealing the 2nd Amendment should be a piece of cake.
Taxpayers in CA still obey the law. There’ll be hell to pay if we don’t.

You would think that ca,ifornians would be fed up with the massive high prices to live there, and vote him out- but they arent. And like you said, illegals voting pretty much means democrats in power for ever there. It has gotten so that in some states, conservatives need not even bother voting because they have no chance at all. We still vote, but it’s useless really. It would be one thing if the split were near equal, but in some states, ghe split is so massive, Republicans have a near zero chance of winning.
