"The Russian economy is deteriorating," Gallyamov said. "The war is lost. There are more and more dead bodies returning to Russia, so Russians will be coming across more difficulties and they’ll be trying to find explanation why this is happening,..."A military coup will become possible"...Geopolitical strategist Alp Sevimlisoy warned earlier this month that the faltering war in Ukraine has become a liability for Putin, as many within the Kremlin are eager to replace the Russian president. According to Benzinga, Sevimlisoy said coups are developing within the government and are bent on removing Putin from power.

And no, Putin won't actually launch nukes.

Do Russians think Putin is doing right by threatening the world with nuclear weapon?

Doubtful.

I’m guessing Russia’s defense infrastructure and the related jobs are expanding. And along with that expansion becomes prosperity. Add to that the increased revenues from energy exports.

Russia will get stronger and overcome the initial combat casualties.

Joseph Stolen is a reckless asshat. And the stupid # won’t be around to deal with the failures he left in his pathetic wake.

Actually their military industry is shrinking.

Because
1. They don’t have the electronics to build much stuff bar dumb ammunition

2. Their export markets have dried up after looking at the poor showing of Russian made weaponry in Ukraine

Not so sure about prosperous. But it'll get them on a war footing. 100,000 dead. 300,000 mobilized. So they're shifting their economy from manufacturing consumer goods to replacing equipment for the war in Ukraine. Looks like their goal is to bleed Ukraine until Zelensky settles for a cease fire.

a Rhesus monkey could have done a better job than Putin

Russia expanded in the last 20-25 years thru private entrepreneurial investment, not thru anything the would-be Tsar did

at least with the monkey in charge, there wouldn’t be this obsession to re-create the 1700s ... and a lot more Russians would still be alive ...

How could there possibly be a coup attempt against someone who will be dead soon considering the multiple forms of cancer he supposedly has, evidenced by the cancer drugs he’s taking and Putin pooping in his pants after falling down some stairs

I’m guessing Russia’s defense infrastructure and the related jobs are expanding.

Translation: An ever-larger percentage of the Russian economy is being diverted to the production of armaments, instead of consumer goods. "Guns instead of butter." The Russian War Machine is devouring goods and services which would otherwise be devoted to peace-time purposes.

And as millions of young Russians in their most productive years flee the country (to avoid conscription) or otherwise "fade away," more and more jobs are going unfilled. So this results in record-low unemployment in key industries - which I guess is a good thing?!

And along with that expansion becomes prosperity.

Only if your only metric in measuring "prosperity" is the number of bullets being manufactured - or the number of prosthetic limbs being produced for the war cripples.

Add to that the increased revenues from energy exports.

The economic and trade sanctions are really gaining steam now. The drop in revenues attributable to dwindling energy exports was especially noticeable in the fourth quarter of 2022, and will continue and worsen as time progresses.

Russia will get stronger and overcome the initial combat casualties.

How do you figger that?! Sounds like nothing but wishful thinking. How is Russia supposed to "overcome" the catastrophic levels of casualties suffered in the first 12 months of Putin's invasion?! Can Putin simply "manifest" more troops and tanks?

Regards,

Sure. A tank factory responsible for 75% of global tank production BEFORE the war has doubled the workforce and works in three shifts.
In airspace the people say they weren’t as busy since mid-1980s.

It is commentary like this that justifies wondering how the media could declare victory if there were a Ukraine coup and a military government friendly to Moscow installed.

I have no doubt at all that such a scenario would be called Magnificent Victory and total defeat of Russia. The justification would be Russian troops withdrawing. That would be how the pretense could sell.

All of the intelligence igents from the CIA and MI6 in Kiev would be executed, all applications to Nato withdrawn, all applications to the EU withdrawn, and an application to the SCO forwarded, but there is no doubt whatsoever that the Western media would declare this victory over the evil Putin.

I confess that I wondered for some time how the West could endure defeat, and because I could not see any way that could happen I have been somewhat convinced that the default result would yield NATO troops on the ground. They could not accept defeat and they would go all in. But I no longer think that. The reason being that the media could manufacture a victory where there is none. They could hang their hats on the withdrawal of troops and pretend that the new government was one they could work with.

Hell, even with all of the new Russian territories intact and using rubles for day-to-day activity, the mainstream media could manufacture a victory out of all of this, and because of that the West could endure essentially nothing.
