Memphis 64.6% black
Detroit 77.9% black
I visited south africa with my church group about six years ago.
That place really gave me the willies.
We also visited Namibia and Zambia. Those countries seemed ok for tourists to visit. No fear.

I had the misfortune to be required to attend a technical meeting in Detroit. The “atmosphere” scared the crap out of me. I can’t imagine what Baltimore and Memphis must be like.
And I say that as a Louisiana native who has been to New Orleans frequently.

Good description. Producers of zombie or other apocalypse movies don't have to pay extras to play the part of the zombies or crazed mobs. Just install cameras high above these cities and get all the footage they need at very little cost.
Disagree. The problem is blacks and their culture and decisions.
Mayors don’t make blacks do anything.
White and Asian people in the same cities don’t commit the same crimes.
White Democrats generally don’t gravitate to crime either - the gentrified liberal areas of Brooklyn are the safest in the borough (along with the Hasidic areas).

So far it appears to be so this isn’t the America we grew up in at all and it is done by the hand of the democrat party.

I observe that in the worst of these cities, the mayor comes from the same culture as the crime. And the disfuctional crime ridden culture is to a great extent created by government policies enacted 60 years ago.
You won’t find too many negroes on “Indian Reservations”, but you’ll find the same culture of criminality, dependence, and unearned “entitlement”.
Native Americans are more self destructive like white people, than randomly violent against others like blacks are. There also isn’t 40 millions Indians destroying every US city.
If people want to live crappy lives, that’s their decision.
My problem is when they ruin others lives.
I imagine it is pretty safe if you stick with the group and don’t do something stupid like wandering off on your own to “experience the local culture”.
Before I retired our employer had a few meetings in Baltimore.
A few blocks from the hotel was all it took..and the locals stared at you like you were going to be their next snack.
I never meant that they weren’t responsible for their crimes. But, as I said, the “black redneck” culture was dying until Johnson’s Great Society. And it’s not just me who believes that. Thomas Sowell says so in his book Black Rednecks and White Liberals. I have a copy that was given to me and asked to pass it along. It’s yours free if you want it.
Most Dem cities are like this. I knew people who checked into a hotel in Springfield MA for a meeting, gunshots were being fired on the main street.

There is also another even more important data point about those three cities have in common, and that everyone avoids mentioning like the plague. The elephant in the room nobody wants to see.
Those three cities are majority black and run by blacks. Basically, they are African cities.
The other eight also have either a majority black population or one bigger than the whites.
How does that go? ... You can take the blacks out of Africa, but you can’t take Africa out of the blacks.
