Donald Trump: Socialist Big Spender.

This is his default mode, not any kind of new position.

A 2024 presidential candidate that runs on cutting social security and medicare will suffer the worst defeat in presidential politics. There are other options that are more attractive politically, medicaid, covid spending, education, etc.

Oh, the old ‘repubs want to cancel SS and Medicare’ suggestion? I keep seeing that scattered about by some democommies acquaintances.

There is no reasonable hope for US federal government finances if deep cuts on outlays are not soon made in CMS.

President Trump is doing just fine poll-wise. Is the Pedo Joe is being taken down by the Deep State the FBI robbery at Mar-a-Lago has been revealed even to the average brain-washed American.

“...and Donald Trump the worst.”

Not really. The “worst” refers to MSM reports, which are definitely not detailing a natural flow of grassroot sentiments.

As for DeSantis, has anyone noticed any negative press much for him. My thinking is that once they think they have successfully gotten rid of Trump, they know something about DeSantis that will quickly take him out, or he will just be easily taken out once they train their big guns on him.

Maybe they will just remind Trump supporters that DeSantis voted for the TPP treaty, which would have destroyed American sovereingty coompletely.

Cutting these popular programs — or “saving” them, as House Speaker Kevin McCarthy prefers to put it — is a longstanding conservative goal.

What is with these goddamned uniparty politicians, writers, and some of you FR poseurs? Social Security (as opposed to the corrupted SSDI or Social Security Disability Insurance program giveaway which can benefit 20-year-olds if they are clever enough) doesn't have anything to do with being "popular". It's not an illegal alien movie star.

Instead, it's a long term retirement investment program millions of taxpayers paid into over the years of their hard working lives, which now generates a modest monthly retirement benefit they are entitled to receive. It is NOT a giveaway program or welfare. Get smart people or f'n get lost.

He was far left during covid and all about tyranny an big government pending… big government and corporate alliances to erase freedom.
So of course his is all for the denial of mathematical reality in exchange for personal gin.
Ht kind of constitutional freedom lover would ever again vote for someone who blessed mail in ballots, masking, truly restrictions, big Parma billions off taxpayer tables, no freedom of assembly (unless you are burning cities) and bumpstock bans.
That record is antithetical to the bill of rights. Antithetical to freedom.

IF we can’t even talk about revamping, maybe even being able to opt out of SS, then this country is doomed to more and more socialism and eventually communism.

National Debt increase under Trump’s 4 years was $8 TRILLION ($20T to $28T) a record increase of 40%.

He needs to quit hiding behind Social Security and announce one thing he’s willing to cut, if he has one, at all.

No Republican is opting to cut Medicare or SS. Having a discussion about the two is not supporting any cuts.

Trump has never been a social or fiscal conservative.
He was for abortion before he was against it. He did not veto any big spending bills. Federal spending and national debt shot up significantly during his 4 years.

WELFARE is ONLY outgoing to recipients.

Bloomberg and the WaPo would like us to fight amongst ourselves.

Let's focus on the Dems, with the multitude of critical issues regarding the many hot messes in which they leave us at the moment.

Typical responses from the knee jerk contingency. Americans paid in to SS and politicians stole the moola for their giveaways. President Trump wants to put SS on the path towards solvency not screw Americans further. He is good at solving that kind of problem & much more honest that the cut/not-cut crooks.
