Continuing to craft a second generation of his policies, former President Donald Trump is proposing a dramatic change in the education sphere that would empower parents to elect and fire school principals.
"Our public schools have been taken over by the Radical Left maniacs," Trump said in a video announcement released late Thursday night.
Trump said the first step in his plan to "save American education" and restore power to parents would be to cut federal funding for any school or program pushing Critical Race Theory, gender ideology or other "inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content to children.
Trump, who has already formally launched his 2024 presidential reelection campaign, said he will, if elected, direct the departments of Justice and Education to open Civil Rights investigations into any school district that has engaged in race-based discrimination, including discrimination against Asian-Americans.
"The Marxism being preached in our schools is also totally hostile to Judeo-Christian teachings, and in many ways, it is resembling an established new religion," Trump said in the roughly four-minute video. Man, Trump needs to stick to policy rather than personal tweets. He is so solid on policy.
Maybe DeSaSantis will appoint him Education Tsar.
Big changes are needed.
Maniacs? They’re predators!
His political instincts are still as good as in 2016
So is Trump for the LGBT propaganda in schools?

the karma that awaits hubris
Lol .
Gee that sounds like something my Gov has been doing already .
You mean stollen Desantis Programs .
Radical Left Pedophiles.
> too bad the republicans don’t control the senate or the presidency <

fixed
Trump likes Big Gov like Dept. Ed. and sees a few changes as the solution, when the problem is obviously this onerous top down style of government.
The true answer is defunding that monstrosity and giving vouchers that equate to funding to parents that would allow them to send their children to better schools, especially Christian ones.
Yup.
Lol .good one .
Trump better be careful, he could easily make democrats convulse into hysterics by nearly anything he says.
Public education is unconstitutional by nature. It inherently denies religious freedom.
