I don’t know if I want to see someone beaten to death. We don’t really know if he was reckless driving or not. He was almost home.
By the way Memphis will hire convicted felons as cops because they don’t want people from other counties policing here. The city council thinks it will be some country white guy bullying blacks even though the surrounding counties have plenty of blacks without criminal histories.
Couple of words of hope for Memphis.
January really is not riot season and this appears to be black on black assault.

Four decades ago I remember an “activist” telling me that “it don’t matter if the cop is black...when they send him to the academy he doesn’t think like a black man, he thinks like a BLUE man!”.

This must be awful. It doesn’t seem the man was armed, no shots were fired by cops either. So he ran away from LE, eventually they caught him and they beat him enough he died from his injuries. 5 of them. Man, what the hell were they thinking? Memphis is rough I know, but this is bad.

If for some insane reason one goes into law enforcement today, you should make a visit to the Mexican part of town and get a new passport, birth certificate, state ID, and then obtain a pre loaded credit card or some Bitcoin.
When something like this happens, you better recognize it quickly. This happened on January 7th. A few nights after the incident, you go to the truck stop and put that cell phone on a westbound semi. Go to the airport and head south and don’t stop till you meet people speaking German in Tierra Del Fuego...go have a beer with Snowden, and stay. Grow a beard and quietly flip burgers in Oregon. Something.
