Ukraine is finally getting the Western-made tanks that it wants, but there's still a few big items on its wishlist. Kyiv says the next thing it wants is fighter jets.
"We have new tasks ahead: Western-type fighter jets, sanctions, Peace Formula implementation," Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said after Germany announced on Wednesday it would send Leopard 2 main battle tanks, a decision that followed weeks of mounting pressure by European countries.
Yuriy Sak, an advisor to the Ukrainian defense minister, concurred, telling Reuters that "the next big hurdle will now be the fighter jets." Some others, however, have pointed to long-range missiles.

No point in that, besides, I doubt Ukraine would want it; It is not a marketable commodity. Don’t worry about the jets or tanks either. Those items will likely never see the battle field as Zel will have them sold to China and the Turks so he can give Sniffin’ Joe his 10%.
I think we have nothing to compare to this.

The same is true for tanks, as I’m sure you know, which means, we’re sending people there with them.

Only weak countries bully and threaten to use nukes because it’s all they can do. So Russia joins an impressive club with the likes of North Korea and Iran. The farmers and miners defending Ukraine have exposed the fake Potemkin army of Russia for the world to see.

That’s just it, it is not obvious. It’s one thing to provide equipment, it’s another to provide boots on the ground. What exactly will be provided?
As I inferred, just giving the equipment, even with training is a waste. To be effective they need experienced crews and pilots that are not being mentored in the package.

Heard from a friend recently that US army troops were being deployed to Romania.
Very disturbing.
When the US tried to get Ukraine into NATO, Putin has said for years that was a red line. The US and Zelensky kept talking it up and making plans. Hence the invasion. And Putin has offered to negotiate and Zelensky didn’t go for it. That’s where we are. NOW this talk of more advanced tanks and fighter planes will get some real action going.
