The West is poised to send nearly 200 battle tanks to Ukraine in a potential hammer blow that could help Kyiv win its war against Vladimir Putin...It brought the total number of tanks Kyiv can expect to have at its disposal to nearly 200, with potential for more...Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman, said the new tank deliveries "would bring nothing good to the future relations".

The USA didn’t leave any tanks in Afghanistan. It did leave some military vehicles which seem to be Humvees
He writes good articles.

According to 4 Star General Laura Richardson, Biden has asked Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela, and six other Latin American nations to send their old Russian weapons to Ukraine in exchange for new U.S. military equipment.
Honestly can not disagree with you but I will ask where do you draw the line? Let Putin take Ukraine then what? Would he stop there? Do we pull a Neville chamberlain “peace in our time”. That ended well, right?
Then you have china, Georgia Chechnya Crimea Afghanistan and now Ukraine seems like a good time to invade Taiwan …..
Should we have let hitler just have what he wanted to save some death and destruction?
As Bongino says it is not a time of good or bad choices only bad and worse
And we sometimes fly the flag of the original 13 colonies.
I'd rather be in a tank, than a APC, truck or out in the open as a soldier. As for the Russians, if you stupidly just send tanks, without APC's and infantry support, yes they can/will be destroyed.
It’s been a year and Russia still does not control the air over the Ukraine battlefield. How long should I plan on waiting? These comments about the greatness of a fake Russian army are “silly.” It is as corrupt and incompetent as the rest of Russian society. All it is capable of is destruction and mass murder in their usual Nazi manner.

Good grief, missiles have destroyed most of the cities and you are still waiting for more.
My original point to all the geniuses is that this is a bad thing, as it demands a response from Vlad...which ends badly any which way you slice it!
Good grief. When did conservatives become so weak? Ukraine is still Ukraine. All Russia can do is bomb its women and children and turn its cities to undefendable rubble. Would you surrender your country to such a genocidal mania with the full knowledge that torture chambers and mass murder come next? I hope not.
“The thing is that they are different kind of beast but they are rugged multifueled, engine is easy to swap and just like most everything else they would be sent to poland for repair. There are lots of spare parts in Europe”
Thanks for that interesting info.
Un mentioned is the sheer number of Russian tanks that were left behind and now Ukranian
Good grief

War is hell, don’t ya know. No one wants to negotiate, so this is what you get. It’s all Putin’s fault.
The majority of the tanks they have and have been using are Soviet Union era tanks & Russian tanks.
The Ukrainians are happy to negotiate once the Russians go back to Moscow. Putin is using the usual Bolshevik “negotiating” tactics of what’s mine is mine and most of what’s yours is mine, too. So, Russia’s colonial fantasies must be bled out in the frozen fields of Ukraine.
Most of them are tied into the "military-industrial-complex" that would depend on big new orders even if we had 10,000 M1's sitting in storage. (We actually have around 3500.) Surge (factory) production of new M1A2 SEPv3's is 120 / month. (Can be further increased in an emergency situation, but I could not find firm numbers on how much.)
But, here's the thing. Where would those reserves ever get used? Invade mainland China? Are you kidding?
These reserve M1's have 3 possible destinations besides Ukraine:
1) Upgrade and export (but generally buyers are directed to new production so we can more readily keep the production line humming.)
2) A war vs. Russia.
3) Scrapyard.
Since Russia insists, might as well attrit their equipment now, with Ukies doing the hard lifting...
Of course, the Ukrainian tanks are almost all ex-Soviet. Ukraine inherited the Kharkov tank factory in 1991, but has made few tanks there. Over the last 30 years its mostly been upgrading ex-Soviet tank hulls.
Putin held the same position as Trudeau with the WEF at one time. Everybody repeats that he was KGB, which he was. Plus part of the WEF young adherents association, or some such BS.
The WEF is like joining Rotary, or Elks.
What I “want” has little to do with what is inevitable, dude. Facts are facts and since I’m an actual American and not some foreign shill, I get to decide whether I want my country to stick its soldiers into a no-win situation.
