Sen. Dianne Feinstein Introduces Bill to Ban 205 ‘Assault Weapons’

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) introduced legislation Monday to ban “205 military-style assault weapons by name” and prohibit transfer of “high capacity” magazines.

Feinstein cited the January 21, 2023, Monterey Park shooting as the impetus for the reintroduction of the “assault weapons” ban.

She said, “We were tragically reminded this weekend of the deadly nature of assault weapons when a shooter used one to kill 11 people and injure 9 more at a Lunar New Year celebration in California.”

“It appears shooters have found out to just carry more 10 round magazines.”

And to duct tape them together for a quick and easy change.

Any type of firearm can be used to assault another person, therefore all guns are assault weapons, and they must be banned. /s

During the hysteria of the mobs the Dems race out to take advantage, often with a Sharpton or Schumer praying at a casket if the cameras are on.

No use considering the facts soberly, such as that California has the strictest anti-gun laws in the US and NEITHER of the two shootings would have been stopped by registration, waiting periods or other laws, even with a Gun Free Sign in two languages. Reporters had to admit “The gun was bought legally” and so on.
