This weekend, I watched the breaking news reports from Southern California with a mixture of shock, disbelief and anger. On Saturday night, what had been a gathering to celebrate the Lunar New Year in a Los Angeles suburb became the scene of a massacre. By Sunday, President Biden had issued a statement, noting: “While there is still much we don’t know about the motive in this senseless attack, we do know that many families are grieving tonight, or praying that their loved one will recover from their wounds.”
I am from Monterey Park, Calif. I am struggling to process a reality that has become familiar to many Americans: The horror of a mass shooting has come to my hometown. And this diverse, vibrant community will never be the same.
I know the area surrounding the Star Ballroom Dance Studio — the site of the attacks — very well. The church where I made my First Communion is down the street, and the public park where I learned to swim is around the corner.

Who’s driving these “mass shootings”? The RATS and their “media” toadies. When a six year old can bring a gun to school, pull it out and shoot his teacher, GUNS AREN’T THE PROBLEM. Anyone who says otherwise is doing way too many recreational drugs.

In Asia, in the last few years, men have committed mass murder with knives, fire, poison, and guns.

Fact: A victim may have a strong reluctance to talk to a government agent about a firearm brandishing incident (which are 98% of DGUs) because they may not know the act was 100% legal.

The USA is the only country premised on the notion that people should look after themselves.
Countries like the UK, Japan, Saudi, and Canada have much lower homicide rates. The people in those nations are subjects and the system is built on the notion that the state should make the important decisions for them.
Our freedom has been eroded, but it is real. It also comes at a cost. Sometimes free people will do things we don’t want them to.
A society that has no morals, can never really be free.

We are not alone. And the problem is "nutty people" that own guns....not the 99.9% who use them properly.
The media ignores the fact that TWO mass shootings were elderly Asian men. Doesn’t fit the narrative of angry MAGA voters with AR-15s.
