“Nicole Narea, Li Zhou, and Ian Millhise” it took THREE PEOPLE to write this BULLSHIT!
Meanwhile in the Dakotas, Montana, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, many parts of Tennessee and Texas, and elsewhere with high legal firearms ownership rates, there continues to be very little if any violent crime. Something that seems to evade these authors and other lazy journalists.
America has a black gang problem
Not a gun problem
Liberals talking about gun crime never mention the largest source of the problem
Sorta like liberals talking about environmental problems but never mention China/India
Oh no. We’ve lost vox.com(via msn)! How can we move forward? Hey vox & msn.....🖕. [Sub headline:America’s enduring free speech ‘problem’ explained!]. You know, since we’ve been reminded that NONE of those pesky rights are absolute. Right branDUHn?
Until America repents and returns to God things will continue to devolve.
A narcissistic and entitled culture can not persist.
“Canada banned military-style assault weapons two weeks after a 2020 mass shooting in Nova Scotia.”
This is a patently false and dishonest statement. True “military style” firearms of the fully automatic version were prohibited through grandfathering in 1978, even though no legally owned fully automatic firearm had ever been involved in a violent crime in Canada.
The authors also fail to consider that violent crime in Canada was much lower when the firearms laws were that great deal more casual during the 1950s, ‘60s, and early ‘70s when police permits to purchase firearms were not required (one could go into a decent department store or sporting goods place and buy a standard hunting rifle and shotgun plus ammunition and basically no questions were asked). I wonder why then, was there basically no violence at Toronto Maple Leaf Stanley Cup victory parades during the 1960s, but there was a shooting that took place at the 2019 Toronto Raptors victory celebration?
Monterey Park is 65% Asian shooter may not be hard to find.
Probably thought it was getting back at the originators of covid. Probably lost someone to it. Probably did not know where Dr mengele fauxci lived.
America’s “gun problem” is focused in just 31 counties and over half of the problem is caused by less than 5% of the population (13% factored down to account for males of a certain age range).
That is not a “gun” problem. That is a “culture” problem.
It’s not our guns, it’s your sons.
As a 70 year old American, I look upon ‘foreigners’ writing on American firearm issues, over the top of my middle finger.
America does have a firearm issue, and it is this, there are not enough well-minded Americans daily carrying a legal firearm of choice, according to present statutes. Used to be EVERYBODY WAS POLITE, because everybody else wasunaware if thd folks carried, in their pocket or not!
‘Foreigners’ , who may or may not habitate other lands, and hsve not ever e perienced the freedom we Ameticans wake up and go to sleep with,, shall always have difficulty comprehending ‘firearm freedom’.
That’s just too bad ...for them!
The bugaboo is not the firearm.
The bugaboo is the bad guy utilizing that firearm.
This article essentially states that the gun violence is because of Republicans and the SCOTUS.
Let’s see, strictest state in the union on guns. One shooter or two that opened fire on Asians. Ten bucks says perp is black.
Hey, continue letting criminals who commit crimes off with a slap on their hands and a promise to be good and they will just commit an even worse crime next. Hey people, what do you expect when you continue electing these soft on crime Democrats?
With the stolen elections, that offensive is moving right along.
The comments are so much better than this crappy article.
