Ugh. Just thinking about it makes my knees ache. LOL
It was a disappointing day here. The new washer was delivered but they couldn’t set it up. The little spigot in the wall that the hose for cold water screws onto leaks. Yikes! I have no idea how long that’s been going on. Anyhoo, it has to be replaced and since Hubby isn’t here to do it, I had to call a plumber. The soonest one can come is Monday and I got lucky with that. Apparently a LOT f people around here had busted water pipes Christmas weekend and the plumbers are STILL trying to get caught up with them all.
So the new washer sits in the laundry room, waiting for the spigot to be replaced so it can be hooked up. Once the fix is done, I have to call Lowe’s again to have them send the guys back out.
Typical of my luck. LOL
Arrgghh! What a pain in the butt to find out you have a leak when there is no way to get it fixed fast and easy. And meanwhile the dirty clothes are piling up. Hope Lowe’s can get back out in a timely manner once the spigot is repaired. Sounds more like MY luck. LOL!
Hand the plumber a 20 dollar bill and he will set it up.
Very cool that you were able to get a plumber so quickly. You will now start adding “fixer” cards to your fridge door. LOL! Been there, doing that.
Since the machine is at your house, you can sit and study the instructions. You’ll be ready to go as soon as it’s hooked up.
