A shocking 5”...fortunately it was light and fluffy...easily shoveled off the deck. AND...the GOOD plow guy came during the night (cannot believe I didn’t hear him) and did an excellent job. He cleared the whole berm that the last guy left causing me to have to shovel a path to my porch.

So I called his employer and let them know what an excellent job he did. She said she would post it on some sort of board they have. I hope other plow drivers will see it too. In the back of my mind I’m thinking he might have been surprised to see the extent of the berm that was left previously. My driveway has railroad ties from the mailbox to the far side of the porch stairs. It is plowed up to the railroad ties now.

Ugh. Just thinking about it makes my knees ache. LOL

It was a disappointing day here. The new washer was delivered but they couldn’t set it up. The little spigot in the wall that the hose for cold water screws onto leaks. Yikes! I have no idea how long that’s been going on. Anyhoo, it has to be replaced and since Hubby isn’t here to do it, I had to call a plumber. The soonest one can come is Monday and I got lucky with that. Apparently a LOT f people around here had busted water pipes Christmas weekend and the plumbers are STILL trying to get caught up with them all.

So the new washer sits in the laundry room, waiting for the spigot to be replaced so it can be hooked up. Once the fix is done, I have to call Lowe’s again to have them send the guys back out.

Typical of my luck. LOL

Arrgghh! What a pain in the butt to find out you have a leak when there is no way to get it fixed fast and easy. And meanwhile the dirty clothes are piling up. Hope Lowe’s can get back out in a timely manner once the spigot is repaired. Sounds more like MY luck. LOL!

I was surprised at how much snow there was when I pulled up the cam this afternoon. It was snowing fairly hard when I went to bed last night but I didn’t think it was enough to leave five inches on the ground.

Great that the good plow guy showed up last night. That took a load off of you since you didn’t have to shovel out front. That’s a job right there!
Good for you calling his employer. That guy deserves the accolades. The jerk who left the berm has some lessons to learn.
