Bone on bone is not good and quite painful.. That is what eventually led me to stem cell injections.
I’ve had 2 kinds of gel injections that last less than a year, but helped. But I needed a longer solution, that was NOT knee replacements. Now I’ve had 2 stem cell injections and they have created a space between bones. And I had no pain with the “shots”.
See if he can recommend a brace that will ease the pain where you have it. There are all sorts of of them out there. You just need to find someone to help you find the right one. Maybe a sports doc?
Thanks, luvie, for spinning tunes for the troops. ((HUGS))
Satellite Fever & Asiatic Flu...funny.
I remembered you’d had something done that helped but not for all that long. I couldn’t remember if it was gel injections or something else. It sounds like the stem cell injections are doing a better job. You have space between the bones again.
Either injection sounds better than surgery any day!
Sure looks like a beautiful day you had for your outing.
Gizmo seems to find more smelly spots to roll in there. LOL Happy pooch.
Very cool that you were able to get a plumber so quickly. You will now start adding “fixer” cards to your fridge door. LOL! Been there, doing that.
Since the machine is at your house, you can sit and study the instructions. You’ll be ready to go as soon as it’s hooked up.
Did you lose any big branches in the latest big wind storms?
I am SO SO thankful I had the good sense this year (I didn’t last year) to sign up for the flat rate per month. Same monthly rate no matter how many times they come. Same rate if they don’t need to come, but I’m good with that.
It’s coming straight down, more than gently, but less than heavy, and steady. It’s 20%ing right now and supposed to continue over night. I’ll find out in the morning.
Under the circumstances, I was lucky to get one so quickly.
Yes, for things my “guardian angels” can’t fix, I’ll be adding fixer cards. LOL It’ll be strange since Hubby was always able to fix everything around here.
I’ve already poured over the instructions and it’s pretty simple to operate from what I read.
I never went out to do a walk-around today to see if anything big was blown out of trees yesterday. From the house, I can see a few small branches down. I’ll go out tomorrow to how things look on the backside of the old house.
Thanks, unique!
luvie.....#50!!
radu.....#100!!
Nice...glad you are back to your regular routine.
There’s a low sitting over the Gulf of AK and it’s just sitting there spinning, sending waves of snow at you. They might have to go back to your house soon since there’s no telling when the low will move and leave y’all alone.
It’s barely snowing at Lake Hood at the moment but there’s a heavy band coming over the mountains. You’ll get it first, then it’ll reach the airports. You’ll get a break for a while, later, then it looks like another wave should hit later in the morning.
My lucky night. LOL
Good morning, E...((HUGS))...Gizmo looks like he really enjoyed yesterday’s adventures.
You boys enjoy your today adventures.
Thankfully I got everything done at the office on Thursday. Ruthe and I were going to send Rapid cards (an alternate to a bank or credit union for DD) on Saturday. She sends the name and address and I go into the office pull the required cards, note their numbers, and prepare them for mailing. But I was able to fit that in on Thursday. WOOHOO!!
I have a few things to get done for work on Saturday, but from the comfort of home.
Snow has been coming down steady now for several hours. I’m ready for it to stop.
And I am off to bed.
Rest well when you get there.
I wondered if you were going to have to go in to the office tomorrow. Glad you don’t have to since it’s probably going to be a little crazy on the streets.
I imagine all the plow guys are sick and tired of snow by now. They haven’t had much of a break lately, especially the guys at Stevens who have to keep the runways cleared.
Glad you can stay home, snug and warm, and get started on what needs to be done for Monday.
Sleep well and late. :-)
Catch ya tomorrow.
Thanks Kathy. Enjoy your Saturday.
I’m glad you have found the right solution for your knee problems. I remember that they were causing you much pain for a long time. I have a friend who I think has had those stem-cell injections and they helped her, too.
I figure it’ll come to that eventually with mine. I forgot to ask him about a brace. When I found that I couldn’t put weight on my leg with the sore knee after the injection, I sort of panicked. Thank GOODNESS my hubby went with me. I almost told him to just stay home. But I couldn’t have made it out to the parking lot, much less have driven home.
