The Liberation of Crimea Is a Must
Time ^ | January 19, 2023 | Tamila Tasheva

For the first time since the collapse of the Soviet Union, a Russian delegation is absent from Davos. After a year of indecision, the West has finally managed to wean itself off the allure of cheap Russian energy. Ukraine has shown the world that Russia’s military is incapable of even the most basic political and military strategy. Russian war crimes are laid bare and their campaign in Ukraine is inexcusable for any rational observer.

How interesting this woman begins the article referencing Davos. Looks like Ukraine Irredentists and the World Economic Forum types have started pushing the war needs to continue until Ukraine "liberates" the Crimea. Is the escalation of the conflict to potential use of nuclear weapons worth the Crimea?

Well, if ‘Time’ declares an absolute, how are we to argue?

The author should by all means put on her big girl boots and show us how it’s done.

I said it from the beginning of the invasion, that Putin bit off more than he can chew, and that Russia would lose the war and even Crimea. The people in Chechnya are rooting for a Russian loss and could move for independence after a Russian loss in Ukraine.

She’s a Zelensky appointee, and therefore only wants others to fight and die.

They are pushing for a widening of the war. I’m not surprised. They want another world war.

Ukraine has lived without Crimea for almost 10 years. In 2014, Ukrainian soldiers laid down their arms and went home. They would no longer fight their brothers.

I believe the referendum was legal. Do people have no rights? This was a Civil War. Crimea should have never been given to Ukraine. And both Crimea and Donbas have had special status for years.

Ukraine has not done well with it's independence. And I feel bad for the human suffering on both sides.

I know I'm going to get slammed. But why are we even involved in this war excepting for humanitarian support.

And now we're training troops?? Sounds like the beginning of Nam.

Time has about as many pages now as the Weekly Reader we read in grade school. Why are they relevant?

Tamila Tasheva

Tasheva is the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

US media copy and pastes most of their material.

They are fed what to write.

You are getting 24/7 advertising (((pretending))) to be news.

1.) It can be business: the new Iphone is out, Disney has a new ride, there’s a new flu strain and coincidentally a new vaccine...

2.) Or political: climate change, BLM, Ukraine, another negative Trump story, US/Mexican border, Covid was both business and political...

There is no such thing as a “free lunch.” How much do you pay for the news in the MSM?

This is a literal Ukraine government representative writing articles that get published in a US magazine. But no worries, it won’t get labeled as “propaganda.” Such pejoratives are reserved for any argument or fact which disagrees with the generally accepted narrative and official US government position.

There is a reason why you can watch the US news for 8 hours and have not one single actionable/useful information regards raising children, investments and retirement, your health care, travels, relationship and marriage, education, career development, home improvements, personal and family safety... The news is garbage. All of these articles are garbage. It’s 24/7 advertising and is written from the perspective of how to benefit a business, political party or figure, in this case a nation, not you.

In this case, the goal is to promote the Ukraine’s position and a war. They are trying to keep up morale and funding (if interest fades or people think it’s lost, they won’t want more US tax money spent there), keep up the anti-Russian fervor and support for one side. The other side does not exist in their arguments and there is zero objectivity. This is a sales pitch.

I totally agree with you. You’re absolutely correct. And the fact is that the west provoked Russia every step of the way. And there were Ukrainians who were all too willing to shell their Russian neighbors in Donetsk for nothing more than the sin of being Russian for years prior to the actual invasion.

Crimea was part of Russia long before California was a state. It only became part of the Ukrainian SSR because of a dictate by Kruschev in the 1950s. The idea that Crimea HAS to be part of Ukraine is absurd by any rational look at the history.

The first horse released! Second one getting saddled…

Revelation 6:3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. 4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

“Is the escalation of the conflict to potential use of nuclear weapons worth the Crimea?”

Russia started the war, Russia escalated the war. If Russia wants to commit national suicide because the West won’t let them conquer Ukraine then maybe it’s time for NATO to consider ending the Russian threat once and for all.

I do not want my children having to put up with daily nuclear threats from these gangsters for fifty years like my grandparents and parents did.

What amazes me is that we have so many so-called conservatives on FR who are cheerleading their own demise because thy do not see the connection between and the One World Government/New World Order & the Ukraine conflict. That connection is of course, that it is the distraction so they pay no attention to that march towards that One World Government/New World Order.

They are convinced that we must save Ukraine's sovereignty or we shall all fall under the clutches of iron-fisted communism. Unfortunately, that distraction is effective, for these emotionally charged useful idiots who can't see the far greater threat of this One World Government/New World Order will be 10 times worse than communism.

What they fail to see is that if freedom can be extinguished here in this nation, than no one will be capable of saving humanity at all. They believe that this One World Government/New World Order is nothing more than a scare tactic that is embraced by nut cases. I'll admit that when I was first introduced to this argument of a One World Government/New World Order, I too thought it was nonsense. But as time has progressed I see this actually unfolding before my eyes.

On the other hand they totally buy into the narrative that we are saving the world from communism by pushing back against Russia, while they watch our country being invaded by millions of people, not just a few hundred thousands. They say, well those few hundred thousands are armed. They ignore the dangers these invaders actually bring to their own society. They cost taxpayers a quarter of a trillion dollars per annum just to care for them. In addition, they make our facilities over used, which means they deteriorate at a faster pace. They increase traffic on the roads making them also breakdown faster. They overwhelm medical facilities & healthcare professionals. Bottom line is that they affect every aspect of life in this nation. The majority have never paid into the system, and many will never pay into the system. They are a total drain with no productivity input whatsoever.

But the threats coming from the One World Government/New World Order push brings even greater threats to freedoms, and more importantly, to humanity itself.

But there is no getting through to these useful idiots, period. Like the drones that they are, all they can utter is; Russian invaded Ukraine.
