Former President Donald Trump on Thursday called on law enforcement to arrest the “slime” reporter who received the Supreme Court’s leaked opinion of its decision to overturn Roe v. Wade after the Court’s investigation could not determine the source of the leak.
After more than six months of investigation and interviews with over 100 employees, Supreme Court investigators announced they were “unable to identify a person responsible by a preponderance of the evidence.”

Should you be getting involved with this conversation or not?
Trump is 100% correct.
Ask not for whom THE Trump trolls...He trolls for thee!
.
FAKE INVESTIGATION.
Said it then, it was Fake - and the leaker is like the Ukraine fake whistleblower - Eric Ciaramella- he/she would be protected by the Entire Swamp.
.
It’s never stopped him before.
Arrest the reporter for what? Can someone cite to me the law that was broken?
Bet a few months in the lockup would pry the leakers identity out of that reporter.
SCOTUS [led by Traitor Roberts] is incompetent?
Who knew?
Time for another Congressional investigation.
“Bet a few months in the lockup would pry the leakers identity out of that reporter.”
Do you want the government locking up everyone they think is a threat?
So many people on FR are:
“Bring the mighty boot of the government down on that guy I don’t like!”
A few months later:
“Those same government powers have now turned on me! How could I ever have expected that!”
“Bet a few months in the lockup would pry the leakers identity out of that reporter.”
On what charges are you going to arrest and remand this reporter?
I had my money on Elizabeth Deutsch being the leaker. Cant believe they couldn’t figure it out who did it.
It is open knowledge who the leak was from. The person knew the reporter due to a prior incident. They just can’t get either one to admit it and have no physical evidence.
All the staff should be offered jobs with the Department of Agriculture on a west Texas feed lot inspection station and a new staff brought in. The guilty party should cost the entire staff their jobs and the SC should be set up with a fresh set of new hires knowing that is the price. Let them all keep each other in line.
Receiving stolen goods?
Lock up that reporter and you are doing real damage to the free press (not that we have much of a free press these days, anyway).
The Supreme Court has its own police force. And I’m sure they could call on all the outside professional help the need. Yet no one could uncover a thing.
So either the leaker is a criminal mastermind or The Powers That Be don’t want him caught. I’m guessing it’s the latter.
He’s an American citizen, he has just as much a right to suggest what the government should be doing as anyone else.
And there is certainly precedent. Remember the Valerie Plame leak?:

“Arrest the reporter for what?”
Contempt of court for refusing to testify would be the most likely thing. And yes, it has been done before:

It's not incompetence. It's deliberate.
Deliberate Incompetence works for me.
Especially if Roberts is involved.
This investigation is not a judicial proceeding, and the Court's investigatory team did not seek to speak to the Politico reporters. Who would have been within their rights not to speak to the investigators in this context anyway.
Insofar as my speculation leads me to surmise that the most likely person to have leaked the Dobbs draft was Ginni Thomas -- motive, means, opportunity -- there are some people who probably ought to be careful what they wish for.
Seriously? To what end?
+1
