Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said that President Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified documents should be treated “exactly the same way” as they treated former President Donald Trump.
The senator made his comments during an interview with Terry Meiners on Kentucky’s NewsRadio 840 WHAS in which he said Attorney General Merrick Garland made the correct decision to appoint Robert Hur as special counsel over mishandled classified documents from Joe Biden’s time as vice president that he kept in his Delaware home.

Trump had presidential powers to declassify documents. Plus Trump kept them all in a hardened vault area.
Joe did not have powers to declassify any docs he had, and he kept them unsecured all over the place.

DOJ allowed lawyers and Biden Personnel to search for and remove the evidence instead of a large group of FBI agents escorted by a Tactical Response Team ..... WAPO wrote a glowing piece about inside the Trump Raids - and they said the same FBi team that ran the Get Trump Op (Russia Hoex) inside this team said they decided to Indict Trump before executing the raid. This article was before Biden’s Docs were revealed, but they clearly stated that Trump was going to be Indicted.

There are plenty of people that can classify documents and those same people can declassify them.....as well as the President.
We just don't know. We do know that those empty folders are the remnants of the documents delivered to the archives.
Comey is a good example of a department head who classified his infamous conversation with Trump and then declassified the same.
The turtle was hiding with his head up his ass when he said this.
