You do realize that whole bunch of crap was invented by early 19th-century European Romanticists. The entire “Noble Savage” line is their creation.

True, the Apache didn’t have buffalo herds to chase to mass death, but they were so savage to everyone, their name came to mean “enemy” to everyone.

Speaking for American Indians (in addition to others) who were members of the U.S. Army Air Corps, and later, the U. S.
