I forgot about the water barrels. Just takes a little puddle for them to find and lay eggs in.
We didn’t even get a dusting of snow. Just a few flakes flitting in the air. I have no idea if they put down more salt on the roads and hope they didn’t. No need for it this time. I’ll find out tomorrow, I reckon.

I heard many a tale of Andy Barber (Sr.), when he headed up the Music Department at Universal, sneaking off the studio lot with Henry Mancini during racing season to go to Santa Anita. Andy passed in 1988, and Henry in 1994.
