Hey there, radu!

It’s not AS windy but it’s definitely breezy. It was a typical brown-sky sandstorm this afternoon. Had my nerves on edge, bigtime.

How are things there? Was it pretty enough to get out and go run errands? Gosh, I just checked, and y’all are warmer than we are at this hour. I’m shocked!

Ugh! Sounds like a luverly day down there. I hope the winds lays down so y’all can breathe.

It was fairly warm here but cloudy. I did make a run to Office Max for a new desk chair this afternoon. I sat in several and found one that was comfortable. I should have insisted on buying THAT one because the one I came home with is TERRIBLE. That’s happened to me before and it ticks me off.

It’ll be warm all night and might even go up a degree or two. A warm front came up and when the cold front meets it tomorrow, we’ll have rain and storms. No tornados expected but strong storms with high winds are. Then we start getting cold. they changed Friday’s forecast and instead of a high close to 40, they now say we’ll barely get above freezing, with scattered snow showers throughout the day. My butt will be parked in da house. LOL

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

How was your outing with Gizmo yesterday? Or did you get tied up too long getting your battery clamp replaced?

Well, they couldn't find the right battery cable for the pickup so what they did was they sprayed and cleaned out the corrosion around the battery terminal connector.

The service department guy has a brother who works for O'Reilly Auto. He's off this week but will be back Monday and the service department guy is going to check with him and see if he can get the battery terminal connector for the pickup. (Keep in mind this is a 2006 Ford Ranger we're talking about.)

The pickup drives OK but out of caution we're not going to Waurika Lake for now, we're just going to Comanche Lake.

We did have supper from Sonic yesterday. We also had a great visit to Comanche Lake as well.

That’s a shame about the chair, but why don’t you take it back and get the one that was comfortable? Your back will thank you.

I sure hope you don’t get any violent stuff with the cold front, but ick on the snow. I don’t blame you for staying in. Hope the cold doesn’t last long...at least the bitter cold. We’ll have highs in the low 60s to the mid-70s. I just hope the wind is done.

A pox on the Ford dealership, if that’s where you took it. All they had to do was order a new cable and call you back in to replace it when it shows up.
Good luck with O’Reilly’s. Maybe they can drum up something.

Glad you and Gizmo had a great visit to Comanche Lake.

The chair got covered with cat hair when I put it together since I had to work on the floor. The seat and back are fabric, not leather, and it reeeeeeally hangs onto the hair. *sigh*

I’ll just keep using my poor old worn-out chair for now. I didn’t like any of the other chairs at the store today.

I don’t know what we’ll get in the way of storms tomorrow but it’ll be windy regardless. Based on the timing they mentioned, I’ll sleep through most, if not all of it. It’ll have to get mighty rowdy to wake me up. LOL

It’s only going to be really cold the one day. Back to mid 40s Saturday and slowly warming up after that. And cooling off, and warming up. We’re still riding the roller coaster.

Well, it’s a shame you wasted money on a chair that you hate. Sorry ‘bout that.

I just opened the back door to see if Peaches was ready to come in, and the darn wind is howling again. But it’s moved from the south to the north. It’s not much cooler, so I guess the chill is from the wind blowing so much.

Anyhow...I’m sleepy from not having a nap today, so guess I’ll head to the pillows. See ya tomorrow! Hope the cold passes quickly there.

To: luvie

It was the cheapest chair there so I didn’t waste too terribly much. I’ll find one I like somewhere eventually.

If the wind’s out of the north, the front has moved through your area and that’s why the wind kicked up again. Your temp will drop more overnight. At least it won’t change as much as ours will tomorrow night. brrrrr

Our wind is starting to pick up here but it isn’t bad yet.

Another day without a nap? Not normal for you. Get some good sleep tonight.
