They know we’re going to let Iran get the bomb so they’re going to get one too.

> Saudi Arabia plans to enrich uranium for nuclear fuel <

This makes sense, as Saudi Arabia has few energy resources of its own.
Oh, wait...

Who saw this coming?

Leftists sure didn’t.

I knew as soon as I realized they supported Iran getting the
bomb, that Saudi Arabia would be forced to develop their own.

Obama single handed set up a nuclear arms race in the region.

China was helping them develop their nuclear weapons tech, and we still gave them nuclear energy tech under Trump. So stupid.

I'd like to make a suggestion here.
If a questionable nation wants Nuclear Power, Americans should build, man, maintain and defend it, and eventually dispose of the spent fuel.
We share the profits from selling the electricity, enough to make it worth while.
At no point in time should any untrusted parties get access to radioactive materials.

Saudi Arabia begins exploration of uranium, thorium
17/12/2017ArgaamShare
The Saudi Geological Survey (SGS) has started a survey to explore and assess uranium and thorium resources in the Hail region of the Al Hail Province.
The project, which is being carried out in cooperation with the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE) and the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), aims to explore uranium and thorium deposits for peaceful use.

During the launch of the project last Thursday, SGS president Zohair Nawab said the Kingdom had no intentions to use nuclear energy for military purposes.

Dubai also has announced its intentions to build nuclear reactors.

Which for appearance’s sake they will leave online for a couple of years (to appease the Watermelons), the dial back to idle and go back to running their power plants off crude oil because nuclear power is a vanity they cannot justify economically.
