If you’ve been on social media the last day or so, you’ve probably noticed there’s a moral panic occurring over gas stoves. According to Democrats far and wide, they are dangerous, cause asthma, and must be banned by the federal government.
As RedState reported, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez pushed that line on Tuesday, resulting in much mockery given she herself has a gas stove. But what’s astonishing is that amidst her absolute certainty on the topic, she had never even mentioned the issue prior.

n other words, in the span of just 24 hours, Ocasio-Cortez saw some questionable study, promoted it on the internet, gained legions of supporters for her position, and then tried to pretend that everyone else had been ignoring her desperate calls. As Charles W. Cook notes, it’s cultish behavior. Is there anything the New York congresswoman could say that her army of simps wouldn’t agree with? And none of them even gave a second thought as to whether what she was saying was true or made any sense.
It wasn’t just Ocasio-Cortez, though. Other Democrats lined up to preach the dangers of gas stoves, having all suddenly become experts on the matter.

I’ve never seen or heard any issues with natural gas prior to this week.
Always seen as a clean alternative.
So in Cali they have banned wood for heating via fireplace or stove. Wonder if natural gas will suffer a similar fate.
Need to put a stop to this encroachment of freedom.

The very FIRST thing one has to find out with these ooga-booga warnings and calls to end whatever use or behavior is WHO FUNDED THE STUDY.
Most leftist academic organizations, colleges and universities are nothing but academic ideological whores who’ll lend their name to any study where a desired leftist outcome is desired as long as they get paid. Sometimes even, as in the case of MSM, they’ll do it for free if the ideological desired outcome is anti-human, anti-conservative, anti-freedom and so on - as long as it is socialist.
IMO, there is NOTHING wrong with cooking on a gas stove that a smoke/CO2 detector or having to open a window occasionally won’t tell you.
I’ll run a gas stove even if I have to re-jet the stove and put it on propane. These leftists can go screw themselves.
Hopefully this bad idea dies a fast death. Else gas furnaces, water heaters and fireplaces will be next.
If they do take my gas stove, I’m not going to electric. I’ll just get a wood burner.
All these people need to do us all a favor and stick their heads in a gas oven.

Psychopaths have a habit of doing that, however the more pushback they get the more they go full retard.
So I fully expect martial law to be declared soon, with National Guard members going house to house searching for contraband gas appliances.
Consider that a gas stove works in an electric outage. A gas stove cannot be turned off if you don’t have an appropriate ESG score. It is about control for thee but not for me Democrats/WEF. It is BS. Fight it.
