“The riots over the summer, you know, I could make a case that those riots were riots organic to an aggrieved community that perceived that they had various injustices throughout their life,” General Mark A Milley told the J6 Committee. “It was sheer, unmitigated anger that expressed itself in the form of mass violence and rioting. And, okay, I get it, it’s illegal, it’s wrong.”
The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who had previously justified the study of “white rage”, went on to defend the riots and the double standard at the heart of the J6 Committee.
“I don’t think the intent of those riots was to overturn the United States Government and to destroy the Constitution of the United States of America,” he argued.
The mobs assaulting police officers, burning flags, attacking federal buildings in sieges, like the one in Portland, reminiscent of Fort Sumter, and calling for the destruction of America under the guidance of an organization of “trained Marxists” demonstrated that it was an insurrection.
And Gen. Milley’s testimony showed that he sympathized with the insurrectionists.
An account had described Milley pointing to a bust of Lincoln during the Black Lives Matter riots and telling Trump, “That guy had an insurrection. What we have, Mr. President, is a protest.”
The J6 testimony provided an opportunity to dig into Milley’s definition of an insurrection.
On the one hand, Gen. Milley conceded that, “All the President has to do is walk outside the White House and yell three times, you know, ‘Insurrectionists, disperse.’ And he just has to yell it, right? And then he can do it, according to the law of 1807 or whatever year it was, right?”

F’ you Milley, really.
He’s a traitor who should have to face a military tribunal.
Milley needs a cigarette and a blind fold
If that story is true, the President had the authority and the duty to relieve him on the spot. The real story is, "why did Trump not do his duty?"
Because he was not relieved by competent authority when he should have been.
Who would follow Trump’s order.
What is becoming increasingly obvious is that the Trump years were Obama’s 3rd term. The government and military had been and continue to be riddled with Obama’s leftist fascists and totalitarians.
There was no one.
Milley was another poor Trump appointment. Milley was nominated by Donald Trump to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs position in December 2018. The outgoing Chairman, USMC general Joseph Dunford, and Secretary of Defense, James Mattis, recommended against Milley for the position. They recommended Air Force General David Goldfein. Trump selected Milley after interviewing him.
Goldfein, when asked about Trump selecting Milley stated, the president had “the absolute right and responsibility to pick the principal military adviser that he wants.” Goldfein’s comments demonstrated respect for civilian control over the military. Milley frequently publicly voiced disdain for President Trump during Trump’s tenure in office and afterward, thereby demonstrating contempt for civilian control over the military and the role of the President as his boss.
Donald Trump alone made the decision to nominate Milley over the advice of his senior military advisors. He owns the decision and Milley’s appointment is one of many poor personnel decisions he made in office. What evidence do voters have his choices will be any better in a second administration?

If you justify riots, you’re going to wind up with more riots. I’ve seen it the last 65 years.
Trump alone knows what happened. He will be the only one that can attempt a swamp cleaning.
What happened to you? Are you the same person that posted this:
In 2020 Trump earned more popular votes than any Republican presidential candidate in United States history with 74.2 million popular votes. He also received more popular votes in 2016 than any other Republican. He out performed the 62.9 million votes he received in 2016 by 11 million.. Romney received 60.9 million in 2012. McCain received 59.9 million in 2008. George W. Bush received 62.0 million popular votes in 2004, and 50.4 million in 2000.
Biden ostensibly achieve 81.3 million votes in 2020. If Paul Ryan truly believes the 2020 election counts for both candidate were 100% accurate and not impacted by cheating, if Trump had not run for reelection in 2020, what Republican does Ryan believe could have earned enough votes to beat Biden? What Republican does Ryan believe can even beat Trumps 2020 74 million total in 2024 if Trump is not the nominee.
Does Ryan not realize that if Trump is cheated by the party establishment of the 2024 nomination, the conservative base will stay home and the establishment nominee (Pence, Haley, Pompeo, Hogan, etc) will receive far fewer popular votes than Trump did in 2000 or 2024? Ryan is either delusional or is already rooting for a Democrat winning in 2024 no matter who the Republicans nominate.

Yeah, looting and shooting cops is a product or “sheer, unmitigated rage”.
He is a treasonous SOB.
Should be stripped to PVT on national TV and court marshalled.
Bollocks
Piles of neatly stacked bricks for throwing, people with maps of places to target, Chinese and other nationals sprinkled about, and attacks in 34:of 37 Fed reserve bank cities say otherwise. The attacks were a part of a color revolution.
There were riots after the Public read the Jay Treaty at the end of the Revolutionary War. Washington said it was the best deal we could get. Obviously it was less than “the best” as we were back fighting the Brits in 1812.
That was a riot, J6 was a protest.
Riot, looting, violence, arson and murder in an election year sounds like insurrection to me. Why is he spouting off about this? Fire his fat azz.
He reminds me of a Russian oligarch. Fat and indolent.
Milley needs a better supply of drugs.
Treason!
