An account had described Milley pointing to a bust of Lincoln during the Black Lives Matter riots and telling Trump, “That guy had an insurrection. What we have, Mr. President, is a protest.” If that story is true, the President had the authority and the duty to relieve him on the spot. The real story is, "why did Trump not do his duty?"
