Zelensky is just an actor and he has been playing the entire world into handing him money without any accountability. He claims he is fighting for freedom and democracy when he refuses to comply with the Minsk Agreement which falsely was to allow those in the Donbas to vote on their own future.
Now he has empowered his government to shut down all dissent. Upon his return from meeting the Biden Administration, he took back some needed advice – restrict ALL media, block ALL websites that expose the truth, and order Big Tech to censor all negative comments about him or Ukraine. This site is not blocked even in China – it will be in Ukraine. So much for freedom, democracy, and free speech.
It was Kyiv that started the war by sending troops to attack the Donbas in 2014 and that was the West’s installed “temporary” government that started the war – not any elected Ukrainian government. Zelensky was elected promising to pursue peace and end corruption. He has done exactly the opposite. So much for campaign promises. They always say whatever they need to win, and then do the exact opposite. When Zelensky was elected, the Russian press cheered. They thought this actor would actually seek peace.

Sounds like an old song “Blame it on the Nazis”. Just like the commie left in this country every five minutes. The point is Putin and his thugs have invaded Ukraine and are getting their ass kicked.

Putin has killed over 100.000 thousand Russian soldiers in his botched illegal invasion of Ukraine. Not even ONCE has Putin come to the front lines to comfort his own troops. He lives in his bunker (Kremlin), he has canceled many important official meetings these last months, he is super afraid of getting Covid-19.
In he meantime Zelensky has been many times to the frontlines.
In the beginning of the war the United Stated offered to exfiltrate Zelensky to the USA to save him from the Russian invasion - Kiev was at that time under massive attack by miles-long Russian tank convoys.
But zelenski said :” I don’t need a taxi, to be exfiltrated to any place, I STAY HERE with MY PEOPLE. If you want to help, feel free to give us weapons instead so we can better defend our country!”
Yes, THAT is CHARACTER !

Good points. And for me I’m siding with Russia simply because my government and the media are on a massive propaganda campaign to convince me that Putin and Russia are the enemy. No critical analysis of what’s occuring, it’s just you must believe everything we tell you, else you are enemy too.

There was violence both ways, so I don’t see any moral superiority one way or the other. And one million protesting in the streets, even if accurate, means 50+ million were not. At any rate that’s not how government is legitimately changed. Mob rule was detested by the American founders for good reason.
Fomenting an illegal coup in Ukraine, overthrowing a democratically-elected President, backing, training and funding neo-Nazis, Bandera worshippers and Ukrainian nationalists to persecute the ethnic Russian population and using Ukraine was a battering ram against Russia and as a money laundering operation for our political class is not an example of protecting Ukraine.

He was elected with 73% (!) of the votes. Poroshenko only got 24%.

Zelensky is a manufactured salesman not even close to Reagan....never will be. He was sold to the Ukrainian people on a silver platter and they bought it. Just like he’s ben selling himself on the World Stage.

Well we know Ukraines elections are rigged as always - however he had the West laying it out for him.
He sold out to the "liberal world order" and the neo-Nazis within his country and did just the opposite and decided to continue the war on ethnic Russians in Donetsk.
Ukraine signed the Minsk Agreement, which would have ended the civil war, and the Ukrainians and Zelensky refused to implement it. Now, we have Merkel and Hollande saying Ukraine never intended to implement it.
Zelensky has gotten rich while sending tens of thousands of Ukrainians to their deaths and while his country shrinks. Yet, you consider him some kind of hero.
I know. Ted Cruz is a neocon. Fortunately, he’ll never been nominated or elected President.
