Zelensky – The Man Behind World War III
Armstrong Economics ^ | 5Jan23 | Martin Armstrong

Zelensky is just an actor and he has been playing the entire world into handing him money without any accountability. He claims he is fighting for freedom and democracy when he refuses to comply with the Minsk Agreement which falsely was to allow those in the Donbas to vote on their own future.

Now he has empowered his government to shut down all dissent. Upon his return from meeting the Biden Administration, he took back some needed advice – restrict ALL media, block ALL websites that expose the truth, and order Big Tech to censor all negative comments about him or Ukraine. This site is not blocked even in China – it will be in Ukraine. So much for freedom, democracy, and free speech.

It was Kyiv that started the war by sending troops to attack the Donbas in 2014 and that was the West’s installed “temporary” government that started the war – not any elected Ukrainian government. Zelensky was elected promising to pursue peace and end corruption. He has done exactly the opposite. So much for campaign promises. They always say whatever they need to win, and then do the exact opposite. When Zelensky was elected, the Russian press cheered. They thought this actor would actually seek peace.

Zelensky Realized it Was His Opportunity To Become a Billionaire

You aren’t going to convince people. Once they connect the dots and realize Russia’s actions in Crimea and the Donbas didn’t occur in a vacuum, that they were a response to the 2014 coup and Western aggression, they stop believing the war propaganda put out by the corrupt Western oligarchs. After that, cheerleading for the globalist warmongers and the way they are bleeding us dry in another futile attempt to advance their own power and sicko culture just identifies you as part of the problem.

You are using the same sentence as do the Hitler apologists. I hope its humor from your part.

So if I follow your logic, Hitler didn’t invade other countries? He only “defended” Germany by invading other countries? This is what Russia is doing right now.

There are ZERO excuses for a country to invade another county and annex its territories - what ever the history. It’s an act of pure delinquency.

Ukraine is a sovereign country - didn’t you know that ?
Ukraine borders are internationally recognized didn’t you know that?

You seem to not care about respecting borders one bit !
You probably want Americas southern border to be wide open as well right?
Why do you not respect the philosophy of border integrity?
Why do you seem to enjoy when borders are violated?

When did you become WOKE ?

Good luck..

What are you claiming didn’t happen? None of this is obscure conspiracy theory. Are you denying the 2014 coup? That is at the center of this whole crisis.

Hello Mr. DHerion,

It goes way deeper my friend. The groundwork for the war in Ukraine actually started with the 1991 Budapest Memorandum that was gang-raped by Russia.

Indeed, RUSSIA is in violation of the Budapest Memorandum of 1994 when it, together with the US and the UK, PROMISED to UPHOLD Ukraine’s SOVEREIGNTY and territorial INTEGRITY !

According to the Western-sponsored Budapest Memorandum, Kiev gave up its nuclear weapons in return for the Russian pledge of respect for Ukrainian territorial integrity.

Russia’s full-fledged invasion of Ukraine has brought to mind a crucial post-Cold War agreement over Ukraine’s nuclear weapons capability – which resulted in Kiev giving up its nuclear arsenal in light of the US and UK’s assurances that Moscow would respect the former Soviet republic’s sovereignty.

Ukraine possessed the world’s third-largest nuclear arsenal, which consisted of at least 1,900 strategic nuclear warheads. The country had inherited that infrastructure from the former communist Soviet republic.

That capability is “more than six times the number of nuclear warheads that China currently possesses,” wrote Steven Pifer, the former US ambassador to Ukraine and a nonresident senior fellow at the Brooking Institution, an American think-tank.

If Ukraine had that strategic capability in the current conflict, it would have made a big difference and perhaps discouraged Vladimir Putin both from invading the country and from putting the Russian nuclear weapons on “high alert.”

But after the collapse of the Soviets in 1991, the US and the UK convinced Ukraine to give up its nuclear weapons in return for Russia’s commitment “to respect the independence and sovereignty and the existing borders of Ukraine” under the 1994 Budapest Memorandum.

According to the deal, Moscow also pledged “to refrain from the threat or use of force” against Ukraine. However, with the current invasion of Ukraine, Russia clearly violates the 1994 nuke deal, experts say.

“Russia is in violation of the Budapest Memorandum of 1994 when it, together with the US and the UK, promised to uphold Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity if Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons,” says Matthew Bryza, the former US ambassador to Azerbaijan, a former Soviet republic.

Back in 2014, long before the current Russian invasion, Moscow annexed the Crimean Peninsula, a Black Sea region, from Ukraine. Pro-Russian separatists also claimed parts of Donbass region in eastern Ukraine in the same year. Prior to the ongoing Russian invasion, Putin recognised the breakaway regions as independent states.

Both Russian acts are a clear violation of Ukrainian sovereignty. “Russia has broken virtually all the commitments it undertook in that document,” Pifer said, referring to the 1994 Memorandum.

Hey, we also promised we would never consider admitting Ukraine into NATO. Again, I don’t care...let them kill each other...why are we bankrupting ourselves to protect one corrupt country from another....news flash we’re broke and being invaded every day by thousands of illegals...millions in the last 2 years alone...I don’t give a shit about Ukraine or Russia, they have a long history of fighting each other. If you are so hot about this then fly to Ukraine and put your ass on the line for them. I’m tired of getting sucked into these quagmires like Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, etc. and have nothing to show for it but dead Americans and massive debt.

What are you claiming didn’t happen?

Every claim you made, beginning with calling the Maidan Revolution a "coup". Almost one million people protesting in the streets in the Maidan, in response to a corrupt Russian puppet beating people in the streets and stripping them naked in the snow on TV, is not a "coup", no matter how badly you want to believe it is.

And since that so-called "coup," Ukraine has never once turned its back on that revolution in subsequent elections.

Meanwhile, what does Russia have to show for all its bullshit? Not even the Eastern regions, from whence Zelenskyy himself hails--a native Russian speaker-- such as Kharkiv, bent the knee to Russia, even as Moscow shelled Kharkiv city and its surrounding villages killing "Russians" Putin claimed he was liberating.

No such promise has ever been made. I believe there is a claim that maybe, somewhere, in some meeting, someone said they would never consider expanding NATO--but that's not an agreement.

It doesn't matter anyway because anyone who isn't a pathological liar knows that Ukraine could not have joined NATO any time soon. It required the agreement of France and Germany, who had been opposed since... 2008! And also an end to the ongoing conflict in the Donbass.

So all this, "we had to invade to stop Ukraine from joining NATO" is a bunch of made up bullshit.

But it still would seem weird if Europeans, say, referred to George W. Busch. Or Donald Chrump.

the 1991 Budapest Memorandum that was gang-raped by Russia

Russia gang-raped a memorandum? You really are experiencing delirium now old boy.

The U.S. has a commitment to protect Ukraine under the 1994 Budapest Memorandum. Did the U.S. violate that in 2014 when Russia invaded Ukraine the first time & annexed the Crimea?

According to Ted Cruz, who keeps impressing me less & less as time rolls on, we did violate that promise, and why he now vows we must honor that commitment.

Yet I do not hear Ted Cruz say the same about the violation of the U.S. Constitution by every politician who pledges an oath to abide by yet ignores; to protect this nation from enemies, both foreign & domestic.

He never said anything even when he was running for President in 2015. In fact, Ted Cruz was down at the border giving away food & Teddy Bears to the invaders showing how compassionate he was. One reason he will never win my support, but that's another story.

In my book until they honor that commitment of which they took an oath, they cannot honor any other commitments to foreign countries.

That has 100% more of a priority than does some commitment to a foreign country who played a major role in bringing the problems upon themselves in the first place.

Falls under the category of, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Wow, so we should declare war on Russia now! Damn, you are insane. So if Ukraine collapses under Russian attack you want us to send US troops into direct conflict with Russia? Crazy.

Just another Russian propaganda hit piece. Blame the victim of an invasion, whose people have been slaughtered by the tens of thousands, for starting WW3, go figure.

joe and son were taking money from both countries
Hunter was the receivee and Joe got a percent.

I never said Ukraine invaded Russia
Both are corrupt
All the money Joe got from both and he is sending billions of tax $$ to Ukraine.. Is it pay back? Is it money laundering?

Before those countries were fighting, Joe was saying they were going to.

He didn’t need to be involved in either, and he didnt need to give them billions.

He is loose with American dollars. He is a wrecking ball in progress

Joe and son have an arrangement with the cartel
There is no limit with joe

I have, in 2015 the Ukies , with their Azov Neo Nazi battalions started construction of fortifications along the Donetsk and Lughanst ethnic Russian provinces- then shelled them for 8 years. You can’t change the facts- this war started in 2015 and is still escalating.

The western war cheerleaders crying war, war, war are on the wrong side- led by a senile old man sitting in the White House.

Carry on war cheerleaders, your road leads to the destruction of the collective West at most- at the least , the crippling of the West. It is becoming clearer every day.

You are the war cheerleader. You cheer the spreading of the Hammer and Sickle in Ukraine. The fake separatist movement was created by Putin, your beloved 23-year dictator. If you really believe that Ukraine shelled Russian-speaking enclaves for eight years then you are COMPLETELY out of touch with reality.

Wow, did you misread what I said.

I am fighting against our involvement in this conflict. But Ted Cruz thinks we should honor a commitment we made in 1994 to take nuclear weapons out of Ukraine's control.

This country has enough problems of it's own, and we have no money on top of it.

I am sorry I did not make my post clear enough to you. I referenced the man and his actions, and lack of character.
The conflict itself between Russia and Ukraine is for you and whoever you serve to misconstrue and misunderstand.
