CINCINNATI — The Monday Night Football game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills has been officially suspended after Bills' safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field and was rushed to the hospital.
Hamlin collapsed on the field and was administered CPR before being driven away in an ambulance during the first quarter of the game.
An official statement from the NFL states Hamlin is in critical condition.
"Our thoughts are with Damar and the Buffalo Bills. We will provide more information as it becomes available," the statement reads.

Definite change in attitude from "The Show must go on!"
One thing for sure is it definitely has nothing to do with the “safe and effective “ vaccine.
Which was why there was a huge police presence in Buffalo last night to keep players away from the small number of fans, and possibly press, who were there to see the players after they returned in the middle of the night.
They gotta play the game. When? Delay the whole season a week?
Turns out the first hospital was right.
I’m thinking they may play next Monday. Just my guess. Lots of logistics to work out.
I could care less about the game. How’s the player?
I don’t think the game will be played.
Skip Bayless is being panned for pointing this out:

Re: 8 - Not sure how that can occur, as there are playoff implications for multiple teams depending on this game.
Lions receiver Chuck Hughes suffered a heart attack, collapsed on the field and died during an October 1971 game against the Chicago Bears. The Detroit Free Press reports that it's believed Hughes is the only NFL player who died while competing in a game.
“How’s the player?”
In critical condition after cardiac arrest.
CPR was administered on the field for around 9 minutes.
Skip is a jerk, but I don’t see how postponing a game does anything.
I quit watching the NFL some years ago when the kneeling crap started, so my opinion doesn’t really matter.
I wish the young man well.
Reports stated that he had a pulse but wasn’t breathing.
“I’m thinking they may play next Monday”
The day after they play a game on Sunday?
They both have a game this Sunday
There's something bigger here, not sure what just yet, but there was really no reason to suspend the game. That they did means something to the future of sports.
What was the reason to suspend the game again? The teams were overcome with the sads? They didn't need to pull players from the field to donate blood or do CPR, there were plenty of backup players, even if a coach or best friend got pulled to go to the hospital. Did they really need to stop everything? Thoughts and prayers?
God forbid this should happen again....but what if it does?.....and then a 3rd time? Or 4th.......then what?
I’m not sure how they’re going to resolve it. If it comes down to it, I expect the Bills will take a forfeiture.
That could work, usually there is a week off between the Conference Championship Games and the Super Bowl, remove that week and move everything up one week.
How about award a tie to each team?
