Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich said Monday on FNC’s “Fox & Friends” that Republican House members attempting to block Rep. Kevin McCarthy’s (R-CA) speaker bid have a “psychological problem.”
Gingrich said, “This is a fight between a handful of people and the entire rest of the conference. And they’re saying they have the right to screw up everything. Well, the precedent that sets is; so do the moderates, so do the members from Florida. I mean, any five people can get up and say, ‘I’m going to screw up the conference, too.’ The choice is Kevin McCarthy or chaos.”

Hey Newt, a little chaos can be a good thing when compared to the same old game.

Chaos it is. The GOP “leadership” is way too secure and comfortable.

As bad off as the country is, I’m not sure anyone in the House can do anything to fix it. I’m pretty sure McCarthy won’t even try. (Defunding IRS agents is his first priority?! A Uniparty Red Squad move.)
I’m not sure if I should really care if they continue to fight McCarthy.

To: ChicagoConservative27
Nope. Either the Republicans go full war against our greatest and most evil enemy (DemocRATs) or they can shove it up their collective RINOholes.

Hey Newt, a little chaos can be a good thing when compared to the same old game.
If "a little chaos" means Democrats like Swalwell, Ilhan Omar and Adam Schiff keep their committee assignments and we end up with a House speaker who was elected with both Democrat and Republican votes, that's no longer "a little chaos" - it's Republicans crapping the bed and throwing away the only national victory from the 2022 elections.
To: Yo-Yo
With a team like McCarthy and McConnell who needs to worry about the communist democRATs?

Gaetz has been running this mouth nonstop about McCarthy but yesterday when a letter was sent by Nine GOPers saying they wouldn’t vote for him, Gaetz was not listed as one who signed it. So yeah, some games are being played for sure.
