Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) ripped into Rep.-elect George Santos (R-N.Y.) over his embellishments and fabrications about his background, asking him point-blank, “Do you have no shame?”
“If I were one of those in New York’s 3rd District right now, now that the election is over, and I’m finding out all of these lies that you’ve told, not just one little lie or one little embellishment — these are blatant lies — my question is, do you have no shame?” Gabbard asked while filling in for Fox News host Tucker Carlson in an interview with Santos on Tuesday evening. “Do you have no shame? And the people who are now, you’re asking to trust you to go and be their voice for them, their families and their kids in Washington?”
“Tulsi, I can say the same thing about the Democrats,” Santos responded. “Look at Joe Biden. Joe Biden has been lying to the American people for 40 years. He’s the president of the United States. Democrats resoundingly support him. Do they have no shame?”
Gabbard interjected, saying that her question was not about the Democrats.
Santos has emerged from days of silence following reports from The New York Times and other outlets this month that revealed misrepresentations, fabrications and lies about his personal background.

I’d be more concerned with the students, in those cities. I still suspect that he’s trolling the powers that be.
Tulsi could ask that question of hundreds of members of the house and members of the senate. But, she could especially ask that question of Biden and Kamala.
If shame and content of character were to be deciding factors for holding office, most people in public office would have to resign. Telling the truth during campaigns for office would disqualify 80-90% of those running. Santos would have been disqualified, and so would some 70-90% of those that ran in the last election.
He’s a blame shifting creep. She’s right. Where is real Statesmanship - now dead in America.
Why does Biden lie constantly about his past. Why did Hildebeeste tell obvious lies about her illegal, insecure email server? Why does Dick Blumenthal constantly lie about his military background. Why does Pocohontas Warren lie about her ancestry? Why does Ilhan Omar, if that’s her real name, lie about marrying her brother?
With all the lying from the democRATs, I just don’t care about this guy.
Yeah, he’s a lying sack of s**t, but he shouldn’t resign until all the democrats resign starting with Fauxcahontus.
Santos’ explanation as to why he is a “proud American Jew” brings to mind Liz Warren’s explanation as to why she is an American Indian.

Unprepared. He waffled and whined. If the democrats do it I can too. He should have just been a man, accepted it and moved onto issues he would work on.
There are no winners in government these days.
The sad part is that it only will continue to get worse. It doesn’t take a prophet to predict that it may take a nightmare of biblical proportion to wake people up and turn things around.
The guy is one of the biggest losers I’ve seen. What the hell is wrong with the Republicans and these idiots?
This guy needs to bring up Blumenthal every single time he is questioned.

With all the lying from the democRATs, I just don’t care about this guy.
Our side needs to adhere to higher standards than the demonRATs. We need better leaders than the George Santoses, Duke Cunninghams and Mark Sanfords who embarrass us and give us a bad name.
Many agree with you, that he’s trolling. I say it doesn’t matter. He is distracting his students from their class.
He’s using their classtime as a place to personally protest.
That’s not what school is meant to be about. But, whatever. He’s getting attention, so he will continue with his little performance, however vulgar. When students and other teachers begin dressing that way, the Mousy School Board can’t say anything about it with great credibility.
Santos didn’t do anything every RAT politician hasn’t done at one time or another.
