The Twitter files on the government's coordination with Twitter to silence experts and control the narrative around Covid just dropped and I just have to say, the "conspiracy theorists" are batting 1000.
It's not surprising that these things were happening.
Anyone who was paying attention KNEW that the government was pressuring Twitter to censor inconvenient facts if they contradicted the official state narrative.
David Zweig – a journalist who has written for The Atlantic, The Wall Street Journal, New York Magazine, The New York Times, The New Yorker, and Wired – documents the ways in which Twitter gave up its responsibility to free speech and caved to government pressure and used improper methods to censor legitimate and true speech.

It wasn't unique to the Biden administration to work with social media to control the public narrative, the state agencies under the Trump administration did the same thing.
The Trump administration worked to calm people who were panic buying and making runs on grocery stores. And this also shows that the government, to no one's surprise, was not just working with Twitter.
Then we have the Biden admin come in to really push the vaccines and squelch anyone who spoke out against the Fauci ouchie, and target #1 was Alex Berenson.
We've known for a few months that Twitter unfairly targeted Berenson and that the government was in on it. This just reveals that, in order to push the vax, the government was aiming specifically at him.

The Biden administration was so censorious that they thought Twitter, which was busy nuking accounts for sharing CDC data, wasn't doing ENOUGH to censor tweets.
TWITTER was more pro-free speech than the BIDEN ADMINISTRATION.
Let that sink in.
Of course, this doesn't mean Twitter was defending speech.
They reviewed and then suspended a Harvard medical expert, not because he was wrong, but because he disagreed with the CDC's jab recommendation.
In the same way MANY doctors and experts worldwide disagreed with indiscriminate vaccinations.
And this sort of thing happened over and over and over again.
The tweet was locked for citing CDC data to debunk a FALSE tweet that Twitter left up.
It wasn't about stopping misinformation.
It was about pushing an agenda.
They suspended this account from Twitter because they said something that was simply true.
But they have to control the narrative.
The mind rot on display here, from Twitter and the government, is beyond comprehension.
Lastly, check out how Twitter handled decisions relating to President Trump.
These folks at Twitter had been watching too much CNN, I guess.
I remember the mainstream media blowup when Trump, rightly, told people not to be dominated by Covid.
This was seen by some on the wacky Left as a dangerous message and the people in charge of Twitter bought into that same nonsense.
At the end of the thread, Zweig asks all the right questions:
What might have been if Twitter, and other social media companies, had allowed free speech to happen and didn't simply comply with the government's agenda-driven message?
Unfortunately, we'll never know.
The real question for the future is this: How do we stop it from happening again?
How about some INDICTMENTS followed by PROSECUTIONS.
NO ONE is leading that effort. They're ALL TOO CHICKEN$HIT!

The whole premise is based upon the supposition that Twitter is important.
I read through the tweets and what I found amusing is Twitter outsourced some of their censorship to contractors in the Philippines.
When the losers from Blogspot and Wordpress needed a new place, Substack was right there for them. It's Losertopia.

It’s not that Twitter is important or not, it’s the Who is telling them to do this or that. Our government should not be doing this in any way shape or form. But they know they can do it and get away with it.....................

I did not take the vax... but I didn’t run the risk of losing a job. My son took the jab or lose his career. THAT is the most telling of all this crap. To force it on or lose it all.. military also.. either take the jab or out.
There was info in research to tell everyone fauci was an evil person who would use anyone for his tests. there was not much anyone could do to warn the public. .most did not want to hear it and did not believe it. They believed fauci!!! and he is guilty of murder.. he knew what he was doing!
Drs would tell about him on the conservative tv networks... and yet most took the word of fauci... wore the masks and stood apart and sat apart.... it disgusted me .
we have had many viruses and plagues before in our lifetime.. and there was no banning... my ggrandfather died from the 1918 flu .. it took 24 hours to kill a person. there were no demands. The polio epidemic was a scary time.. there were not masks.. they did close public swimming pools in the summer and the fairs for one summer. This is the first time it became government controlled. and government knows nothing.

It was at Nuremberg. My feeling is there are still some honest people in the higher levels of government who know the turmoil of the past few years is the result of a massive scam against the people, on an unimaginable level. If there are such people, I imagine they are overwhelmed and intimidated by the thought that taking action would require an equally unimaginable task: prosecuting untold thousands of people for treason.
I'm guessing David Zweig has figured out IF a thug President can do this to conservatives - a thug President could do it to him and his side. Not implying liberals are capable of empathy or compassion - but they're always concerned about themselves... and the fear 'First they came for Jews... and I wasn't a Jew'... could happen to them like it's happened to us. It's a start.

BTW, I think if you still support COVID injections, you should have to look up the definition of gullible in the dictionary. you can find it right next to the word fear.
Our side will still 'consider the source' and the left will do their usual and quickly line up behind whatever commie authority figure is speaking.
We'll still be true to form - but we damn sure don't need our government sneaking around with lies - working with private businesses against common citizens. (also known as 'the fascist way'... business + government)
