...six years of former President Donald Trump's tax returns will be released by the Democratic-controlled House Ways and Means Committee, which voted 24-16 on Tuesday to release the years of tax records Trump has has long tried to shield.
The vote was along party lines.
After a years-long legal battle, the Supreme Court cleared the way last month for the Treasury Department to send the returns to Congress. The committee received six years of tax returns for Trump and some of his businesses. Democrats are under pressure to act quickly, since only two weeks remain until Republicans take control of the House of Representatives.

This was their ‘legislative’ purpose. The Supreme Court and Roberts have no shame for allowing the obvious abuse of power.
If they can do this to the Potus, imagine what they can do to us little people.

If I were Trump’s people, I’d hot foot it over to the judge
that thought there was a justification for the tax files
being turned over, and go from there.
The SCOTUS should take the appeal in ten minutes.
How about members of Congress. Where are the audits of Joe Biden and his crooked dealings with his sleazeball kid, the Ukraine and China?
They do realize they have opened Pandora’s Box...and every one of them can now be made to give up their returns...or are they above the pretend law that the Committee has made.

Hey if they can do this to that Potus , we can do it for any President, right? Or his kids? Or his business partners? I bet Trump taxes are clean.
I was under the impression it was illegal to release someone’s tax returns. Trump filed suit because they had NO legislative reason to need his returns. Just because they got them doesn’t mean it s OK to publicly release them.
I can’t imagine it being anything interesting.
